We were upgraded to a suite, which had a comfortable lounge and balcony seating area with great views across the Rhone. Their restaurant is fine dining with a sumptuous 4 course lunch or dinner available. Excellent service, knowledgeable sommeliers and attentive waiters, and outstanding dining. Breakfast very good. Hotel magnificently situated on banks of the Rhone, with good walking along its banks. Definitely buy the better rooms, its worth it.

A perfect stopover on the way to Spain! The rooms are comfortable and housed in a charming, characteristic building. The bathrooms have been recently modernized, adding a touch of luxury. Make sure to book the restaurant—it's an experience you won't want to miss. We had one of the best dinners we've enjoyed in ages. Expect the restaurant prices to reflect the high quality of both the food and the overall experience. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making our stay memorable.

The hotel is wonderfull situated along the Rhône. Be in time to enjoy the garden. If you like good food this the place to be (it seems). But be aware: it's a €70 - €100 per person at least and has a dress code. So we decided to eat very satisfing with locals at San Marco pizza in the centre of Condrieu. The rooms are nicely decorated, but a little bid old fashion. The price-quality for the room is oké.

Our bath, including the shower, are outdated in the annex of the hotel. The breakfast (€22,-) is overrated. No possibility to have a cheaper option for diner and to enjoy the location of the hotel near the river. The price of the wine per glass is sky high.

Dinner, parking, location. Many excellent staff.

Breakfast was poor. Limited selection of food, cooked breakfast cold, poor service, butter had to be requested. No soap provided for washbasin in bathroom! When requested I was told to use the liquid soap provided over the bath that was difficult to reach from the basin! Some staff customer facing staff could neither speak French nor English!

The dining was exceptional- delicious dinner was served by friendly and professional staff. Comprehensive wine list. We considered this experience to be in the fine dining category and without any pomposity. The hotel was situated in an attractive and quiet location beside the Rhône. We were travelling with our dog and he was made welcome by the hoteliers; the facilities for exercising him outdoors were very convenient.

The launch pad for our cycle ride down the Rhone, this hotel proved to be an excellent choice. Comfortable rooms. outstanding cuisine and parking for the duration (at a cost). We were lucky enough to be able to dine out in the garden with views of the Rhone. Would definitely stay again. When we returned by train the staff came to the station to pick up the member of our party that had had her bike stolen which was kind and avoided a taxi wait.

Very little - the rooms (in the building opposite) were perhaps a little on the small side but we were only staying one night. Personally i don't eat much breakfast so decided to go elsewhere for breakfast as 17 euros for coffee, juice and croissant is excessive. But those who ate the full breakfast were impressed.

The rooms were nice and the view of the river was also nice

Apart from the dinner was far too expensive we were told there was a reduced menu just after we’ve been sitting and decided what we want to eat. That was a disappointment because we were looking forward to have a really great meal. We decided not to have breakfast as we think it was too expensive.

Excellent dinner. Received good advice from helpful staff regarding local activities, wineries, restaurants. Spotlessly clean bedrooms and comfortable beds. Despite only one other guest at the hotel (Sunday / Monday and very low season) we were made to feel very welcome, never rushed, were given full attention and excellent service throughout our stay.

The dinner was one of the best meals that we have eaten in many visits to France with great attention to detail, excellent service and high quality food. The hotel's location is superb with a splendid vista of the river and its traffic. Secure parking and a suite which was more than adequate for one night. Breakfast on the terrace capped a splendid occasion.

Not only did they have secure parking, I was offered a complete garage, which was very useful when travelling in an old car with a slightly leaky softop. The room was large with a great shower and a bath. It was clean and bed large and nice and firm. The restaurant was excellent and we had an amazing starter meal complete with a small glass of wine to compliment each course. Ok is did almost cost the same amount as the room , but it was a fantastic way to end our holiday. The staff were excellent

Unfortunately the expelair in the separate toilet in the room was not working, Also the coffee facilities on a tray under the TV were not plugged in and I could not reach the plugs the TV were in . There were only plugs on left side of the bed with a small side table or one at the end of the desk too far away. So I had to put the coffee tray on a chair near the plug by the desk, to be able to use it. I have sleep apnea and require a CPAP machine to be plugged in all night to help me breathe. As there were plugs only on the left of the bed so I had to sleep that side. Which is not normally the side I sleep , which annoyed my partner more than me.
