Warm welcome, very comfortable room close to elevator as requested but no noise . Convenient for local cafés and restaurants. Close to château though access via steps or slopes. difficult due to mobility so used car.

Parking at hotel not available during stay but municipal free car parking very close and accessible by an elevator . Space outside the hotel to offload luggage.

Good location for the castle and local facilities. Nice room with good facilities, including kettle etc. Chilled water machine in entrance was good as very hot weather during the stay. Free public parking just 2minutes away, so no need to book inside hotel unless it's something special!

The weather was unseasonably hot at circa 35 degrees; aircon would have been great, but two fans provided so manageable

The location was perfect for what we needed - super central and easy free parking (to note, parking is at the bottom of a hill so get the free lift up to street level!). The room was great and the bed was super comfy.

The desk is open limited hours and staff weren't great at giving good restaurant reccs. That said, they were exceptionally polite and really sweet!

A good hotel in a fabulous location close to bars and restaurants (but not noisy). The room was good and the bathroom worked well. Everywhere was immaculately clean. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The staff were lovely. Parking needs to be prebooked and was really helpful to have. Very happy to recommend!

Very good position. Parking in the hotel was very convenient. All staff were excellent, very welcoming.

Our bedroom was noisy as we were next to the lift. The walls were thin, we could hear other guests’ alarms going off and noisy guests returning after midnight woke us up. An illuminated fire exit in our room (102) was so badly taped up that light leaked into the room, making sleeping difficult.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and cool enough with the window open. Because we had not thought to reserve a parking space in the hotel garage, we took our vehicle to a nearby parking facility, which was free. It was convenient enough! Even though we did not explore the city to the maximum, we recognized its charm. The view from the public park is worth seeing, for example.

The hotel had a great location, castle easily reached by foot, great room - very clean and very comfortable, especially the bed. The breakfast was exactly what you would expect, and fantastically friendly staff - in fact the nicest hotel staff we met during our travels.

The check-in and check-out were both handled very smoothly, with off-street parking available for the payment of a supplement. The room was generously proportioned and made for a very pleasant stay.

We stayed in hot weather which made for a very hot stay due to the lack of air-conditioning. A fan was provided but proved to be largely ineffective.

Excellent breakfast, amazing variety of good quality food. Lovely helpful staff at reception as well as in the breakfast room. Clean, comfortable room. Great location. Parking easy. Highly recommend if you are staying in Fougeres. Really good value as well.

It is conveniently located. The staff is very polite and positive. There is a big free parking lot in 2 mins distance.

The room is quite small, so it was difficult to open the luggage anywhere other than on the bed.
