The pool was a lovely, welcome facility. We were given a family room with additional bed to the booked double which gave extra space. This is a partially modernised hotel with character.

A Bank Holiday Monday (Bastille Day) and the good occupation had to be dealt with by only 2 staff who struggled to cope. Apparently the bar and restaurant are closed on Mondays so the hotel missed great opportunities to sell more drinks and service the obvious demand. I had to chase for our drinks! The reception was slightly haphazard.

We were staying for one night to support our son in the Triathlon event. The hotel was perfectly situated for us - a short drive to the coast. The pool was a super bonus and we had a really lovely dinner in the restaurant. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I have stayed in 5 star hotels which didn’t meet the Arena’s standards! The room was huge, clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel.

It would be lovely to have some water and tea & coffee facilities in the room.

Nice, cozy hotel, in a well kept old building just at the edge of historical centre of the city. The pluses are the secured parking place and the inner garden with swimming pool. Staff is gentle and giving all information you need to know about. WiFi working well everywhere and suitable for streaming. very good breakfast, varied and tasty. AC efficient and easy to control in these hot days: in my room I had two separate zones AC. Room well equipped and cosy enough to feel comfortably. Very large bathroom in the room given. Hotel has an inner restaurant too but I haven’t tried it: apparently a gourmand menu, but I wanted to explore the city on foot after tiring days of many kilometres by car.

I would suggest a door in the shower to avoid a bit of water dropping outside the anyway ample and deep shower.

The hotel is well located just a few steps from the old town. The garden area is very nice and there is a possibility to have breakfast. The rooms are good, as is the general atmosphere, The staff is friendly.

The cleaning was sloppy. One day the cleaner "forgot" to clean the room. The next day the floor had not been cleaned properly, there were no tissues in the toilet and there was sand on the floor. Unfortunately we arrived so late that we did not have time to inform the staff that day.

Our room (nr. 52) was on the third floor and the building has no elevator. Not a problem for us, but if it is a problem for you, you better ask for a room on a lower floor when making the reservation. A shower in the room would have been nice. In the room description it was mentioned that the room has a bad only, but the shower could not be attached in a higher position, so you have to sit in the bath tub when using the shower, not very comfortable.

The hotel has a good location. Upon check-in we were given an upgraded room to a suite. The room was in the attic, it had hot stale air and the bedroom had very little lighting and a small roof window that could not be opened. We returned to the reception and asked for a room that we had initially reserved. The room had a boutique feel. A double bed, shower and bathtub, separate toilet, towels, water bottle, TV, Wi-Fi, safe. At the reception we were given an electric kettle to make tea in the morning.

Expensive car parking, it was cheaper to leave the car on the street. If an upgrade is offered, it should be a better room than the one actually booked. The room description stated that there was a mini fridge, but the room did not have one. In the room, somewhere in the pipes in the walls, probably from the air conditioner, there was the sound of dripping water all the time.

Location is great, overall clean and comfortable. We have spent one night there on our way to Nice.

Tea making options: There is one (!) water glass in the entire apartment and a mini fridge, nothing else, so do not expect you can have a glass of wine in the evening, or make yourself some tea. It would be nice to be given an option to park just outside the hotel, which is free at night, rather than being sent to hotel parking for 9€. That was completely unnecessary, especially that we were traveling in two cars. Hotel parking makes sense if you need to leave the car the entire day.

Great location. Spacious room with good bathroom facilities. Pretty outside areas around the pool. We had a mix up with our departure date which was entirely our fault. Tibo, in reception, was amazing. He arranged new accommodation for us at another hotel and was so helpful to us. We couldn't have done it without him (at 9pm at night!). A true credit to the hotel staff. Thanks again Tibo!

Nothing negative to say.

The staff was the best. They are friendly and helpful. No is not an option. The location is great, at the edge of the old town center, near shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel restaurant is great as well, very good food.

Only one thing, the price of the wine during diner. I asked for the house wine and they charged me 9 euro per glass. That was the only thing, all the rest was great.

Excellent location, within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The hotel plat du jour was very good and was well attended. Breakfast was a continental buffet style, which had a good variety, though some items were not always available every day.

On a Sunday, between 12pm and 7pm the pool area was opened to the public, making it impossible to get a sun bed or to use the area. This was mentioned to us before we arrived but we didn’t appreciate just how busy the pool and surrounding area would be. The music, which was quite loud, finished promptly at 7pm. Thankfully, during the week the pool area was quiet.
