Such a Charming boutique hotel! The hotel is right on the canal in the center of Port Grimaud and we had a lovely view and terrace to sit out on. The port is small but active. Everything you could want was within 2-10 minutes walk. Great restaurants and an ample selection to choose from. We traveled for 5 weeks and stayed in 7 hotels and this was the most memorable for all the right reasons! The staff was incredibly helpful and FRIENDLY!! Celine in particular was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! She gave us restaurant recommendations updated to factor in this was nearing the end of season so she told us which ones to visit first so we could catch it before they closed. Every single time we passed by the reception desk, we were greeted kindly. Le Suffren Hotel is quaint,charming and staffed with people who love what they’re doing! It was a short walk to the beach and the hotel provided beach towels.

The pillows weren’t great. Small and flat. We enjoyed our stay here so much, I hate to say anything negative!

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. The staff is so friendly and helpful, monsieur Laurence et Madame Cherine as well as the cleaning and restaurant staff were incredible. They really attend to your every need and go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcomed. The hotel itself is a gem, located in the beautiful Port Grimaud. A quick and pleasant 26 minute boat ride from opulent Saint Tropez. The rooms are comfortable, great beds, fridge, and wonderful amenities. Super classy, unpretentious and cozy by the charming canals. We thought we were booking near Saint Tropez center, but happy accident, we ended up resting here for three nights. Named after an historic figure, and surrounded by daily markets offering anything from paella to delicious pastries. Amusez vous!

The booked room was perfect, offering beautiful view over the channels. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, and our room was well-appointed. One of the highlights was the staff, who were incredibly helpful and contributed significantly to our successful stay. Prior to our arrival, I requested flowers to be arranged in the room. This request was fulfilled beautifully, adding a romantic touch that we greatly appreciated. Throughout our stay, the staff were always available to assist with any inquiries we had, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and friendliness. Communication before our visit was excellent. The hotel provided us with recommended activities and local attractions, enhancing our overall experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to any couple seeking a romantic getaway. The combination of an ideal location, superb staff, and thoughtful amenities made our stay truly memorable.

A lovely little hotel on the canals of Port Grimaud. Air conditioned, light and friendly staff. We had a canal facing room so had breakfast on the balcony most mornings.

We liked everything, nothing to improve. Worth noting that the sun was on the canal facing balcony in the afternoon. We had breakfast on the balcony most mornings but the sun was too intense for sitting out there in the late afternoon.

Fabulous location, right in the centre of the action. The area tends to be busy during the day & significantly quieter in the evening, so no problem sleeping! The staff were all very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was in a great area with a help yourself buffet. Room was clean & modern with a comfy bed.

Beautiful hotel space with a stunning view of the canals outside our window! We also enjoyed breakfast in the lobby with the same view. Bathroom was larger and nicer than most. Fantastic staff who were very friendly and went above and beyond to ship me a forgotten item!

Room was a bit tight around the bed with limited space to set up a suitcase but otherwise exceptional.

Nice room with mezzanine room and balcony with fantastic view to the port. Close to shops, caffes and restaurants just by walk. Friendly staffs, giving informations that we need. We went to downtown by fery was so easy and pleasant. Le Suffren is recommended hotel for sure.

Reception team excellent! Great welcome and helped navigate parking so we were lucky to park in one of two spaces outside the hotel; also on departure, which was market day, they also came out to speak to a market trader to we could pack and move. Although not the room we requested, ie within the hotel itself, we were housed in a self-contained room facing the canal: delightful with robes, slippers, toiletries, some tasty treats and coffee machine! Reception walked us to the room and showed us the facilities. The location is idea as right by the boules area (we've been twice before to Port Grimaud and stayed one night in a similar room). Logistics worked so on arrival at the gate, we just needed to show our pass to gain entry with our car. Only stayed two nights as en route elsewhere, but def will return!

The hotel was in a great location. Port Grimaud is easy to walk around with fantastic restaurants and many shops a few steps away. The beach is less than 1/2 mile walk from the hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of delicious options and a la carte options were offered as well. Les Bateaux Verts was an convenient way to get St Tropez. Dining by the canals was delightful.
