The location is absolutely amazing, just in front of the beach. We were in one of the apartments with a stunning sea view, so get ready to enjoy some breathtaking sunrises in the morning and dine on the balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff, led by Françoise, was extremely friendly, helpful, and flexible. We had everything we needed in our apartment.

The wifi on site was a bit tricky, and the residence needs some renovation.

It’s quite a tight space for self catering but well provisioned and the bathroom is equally constrained, space wise. But our biggest challenge was connecting to the wifi on site, which repeatedly failed and almost never had an internet connection - impossible to connect our firestick for some bizarre reason the password page simply would not scroll to allow password entry.

The location is great - right on the beach front but nestled in among the pine trees. We were in one of the ground floor suites with a patio / garden so there was no sea-view, but that was fine because it was very quiet and quite private. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful (we had a flat tyre when we arrived and she told us where to go to get it fixed). The suite is basic but does have the things you need to cook. It was a very relaxing stay.

The host is a really friendly French man. Checking in goes really easy, also when you arrive suddenly on another time. Also the studio was really clean and tidy. It was my 2nd time and I really like le Surplage. Great host, clean studio with everything you need and a great location direct on the beach. Definitely recommended!

The proximity of the sea was excellent. Nearby there are shops, restaurants and a bus stop. The appartment had everything we needed. It is silent.

Amazing spot right in front of the beach. As a kiter it was perfect to stay here, so I could go kiting right away. Beside the watersports, the area is beautiful to explore around and do great hikes or bike rides! Le Surplage is located in a calm area and has all the things you need. It is easy to acces and they have a privat parking. It is an older building, but they take good care of the rooms and my room was really clean. Definitely come back at this place if I will travel back to Hyeres! I enjoyed my staying here!

Studio needs a serious renovation it was a bit run down, which shocked me a little on arrival. Although you do spend most of your time outdoors so this didn't bother me afterwards...can't imagine thou if it's rainy and chilly.🫣and you have to stay inside. It wasn't very clean either especially the floor. I was surprised that there were no basic cleanings supplies like washing up liquid, a sponge, cleaning products ...there was a bar of soap!
