What a find - we booked this at late notice and had the two bedroom gite in the converted barn. Lovely room with basic kitchen facilities (microwave, two ring induction hob, kettle, fridge/freezer, filter coffee machine and toaster). Note - there is no oven. The hosts, Celine and Jerome were really friendly and helpful and very welcoming. As the name suggests - there are eight cats - all very friendly and a couple will share your accommodation (if you like cats and let them - we do and did). There is also a young and mad great-dane called Maya who is lovely. The location is great, a few minutes from Omaha beach, small shop and nice restaurant within walking distance and easily within striking distance of Bayeux, Utah, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches. The farm has a mix of rooms (with breakfast available) and self-catering units (do your own breakfast) with secure on-site parking and lovely grounds - easy to find after a sat-nav faff - just put Formigny in the sat-nav and the farm is directly opposite the church. Well recommended and we will definitely be back.

Nothing really - apart from maybe a small bottle of milk and a couple of coffee and sugar sachets for when you arrive. If you are there for a couple of days and in a self-catering unit, , bring milk, coffee/tea and basics with you.

First, the owners were so vey nice. Celine sat down with us with recommended sights and museums for the Normandy area. On the second day, due to jet lag, we inadvertently slept past the posted breakfast time but they still set a place for us and offered to take care of our breakfast requests. Breakfast both mornings was delicious with fresh pastries and juice along with a morning special, one morning we had freshly made crepes and French toast the next. Drive time to Omaha beach is five minutes, 30 minutes to Utah beach and the Airborne Museum in Sainte Mere Eglise

The location was great. Very close to drive to Omaha Beach, The American Cemetery and all the DDay sites. The hosts, Celine and Jerome, are gracious and so helpful. Celine made dinner reservations for us and gave us ideas and maps. Both of them served a beautiful breakfast with so much food, we couldn’t eat it all but had many choices. This was also the opportunity to meet others who were staying there and exploring. The room was comfortable and clean, the parking secure and the property was beautiful and historical. Definitely would stay again if we get the opportunity to be in the area.

We cannot say we didn’t like anything. We were really satisfied.

We stayed here on the second night of our Normandy road trip, and everything was perfect. We were greeted warmly by Celia when we arrived, and we saw a few of the resident cats. Inside, our room was clean, cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was complete, and the hosts made us bacon and eggs upon request. Finally, the location was excellent to explore the nearby towns and D-Day sites. If we are ever in the area again, we'll be sure to repeat our stay.

This is our 3rd time staying here. We love the location to the local sites. The property is so relaxing and comfortable. There were 6 of us in our group so we had the unit separate from the house in the garden and a room in the main house. We could not have asked for better accommodations. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast was great and Celine was the best host you can possibly ask for!

Just a single night as we drove through the area and stopped to see some of the D-Day sites. An adorable little farmhouse stay with a few cats and geese in the garden. The hosts were the highlight, as they chatted us up and provided everything we needed. We felt a bit guilty that they spent so much time on us even though we only stayed one night. The breakfast was actually a pleasant surprise, with some of the best French toast I've had in years. Would come back just for that!

The entrance is a bit tricky, as its in a village center and the traffic can be busy at times of the day when tourists are on their way in or out of the area. Had to park across the street, cross the street, ring the bell and wait for the hosts to open the gate, and then have the wife drive the car in. Not a huge problem, and we were able to pull in to their private parking area, but we weren't really expecting it so had to drive past it and turn around again the first time.

This is an old style bed and breakfast with an excellent room, spacious common area and wonderful hosts. The home cooked breakfast was amazing and the friendly chat with the landlady and other guests made a great start to the day. The residence is a 5 minute drive from Omaha beach.

The village itself lacked an open bar in the evening.

Celine and Jerome were the perfect hosts! Celine went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful as possible by giving us information about the local area, maps, travel tips, etc. My husband and I had an evening picnic in her garden each night we stayed there, and she surprised us with a big bowl of delicious raspberries from her garden one evening. Breakfast was delicious...the best French toast I ever had. I enjoyed her good sense of humor, too. 🙂 The room was comfortable and quiet. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Nothing...it was wonderful!

Celine and Jerome were welcoming and provided us with a comfortable stay. The log fire and sitting area was also a welcome touch in a cold afternoon ☺️. There were artefacts to look at, games to play as a family and a cat that to snuggle with us. Breakfast was wonderful with home made jams and brioche. A great place to stay in the Omaha beach area.

Lovely hosts, very attentive and knowledgeable. Secure parking within the grounds. Comfortable accommodation above a communal dining area/kitchen. Short drive to the beaches and within east reach of Bayeux and Honfleur witch were both stunning and a must visit. We ate at a local cafe/restaurant on Omaha beach.
