Everything was fine. We had a nice parking space directly next to the property. The owner was nice and welcoming. There was a cute garden with a table and two chairs. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. We bought some bread and other stuff at a local supermarket and it was just perfect. Just keep in mind that you only have a microwave to heat stuff. But that didn't bother us, we just bought a baguette and some cheese. Perfect! The place was clean and spacious. The location was perfect and at walking distance to Omaha Beach (1km to the beach and another 2km to the main place of the beach) and to the Overlord museum with a lot of cool stuff to do due to the 80th anniversary of DDay.

No breakfast included, but room was spacious enuf, had a nice yard to keep our bikes, and the room was bright and comfy. owner was super nice and had thoughtful, uncluttered details in the room. this was basically similar experience to an Air B&B in the U.S.

a little tricky communicating with the owner, Frida. when we arrived, there was no entrance info, no code, no instructions. i had to bother the guests in another room as to how they got access to their space. i finally called owner, who had sent multiple texts that never reached me. she gave me instructions over the phone. there was very little open locally for eating, we ended up cycling about 4 miles down Omaha beach to find some open bars/restaurants.

Location was good for us but you must have a car. Very tiny village but easy to drive from one point of interest to the next. Extremely quiet. Very important location on Omaha Beach. Beach, cemetary and Overlord Museum are all MUST see's. Owner supplied everything for a comfortable few nights stay. Would recommend going to the Harbor town for dinner.

Owner sent directions and entry instructions the day of arrival on email. Our problem is we do not have internet the day of travel. I have always asked for instructions the day prior to travel but no one will send them the day before. We found the apartment easy but we had to drive all over the place to find internet, luckily a nice campground host helped us.

This was such a surprising little room & bath in that it was so unique and so thoughtful of the guests. The "Frida" room was so cute and appropriate for a short stay. It was obvious that the owners put a lot of thought into everything in the supplying the room of necessities, as well as beauty to the eye! The location is truly powerful, as it is steps away from historical WWII locations, which are identified by large black and white photographs placed on the actual structures from the war. Extemely powerful and thought provoking. Besides providing a beautiful little place to stay, the owners were more than helpful in solving a diffiuclty we had while there. We truly appreciated their help and patience. Loved it!

Our room was large & clean & well-appointed. We really enjoyed the garden & sat outside at night to see the stars, & took pictures in the daylight. The location near the church was delightful. We especially liked the fact that the war museum, & the American cemetery, were close-by. The tea & coffee that was provided was wonderful - we enjoyed them. Being able to stay in contact with the hotel staff/managers/owners to find out where to park our rental car, & how to get our room key, was great! They were prompt to answer our questions.

We weren’t crazy about the open shower in the bathroom, but appreciated having the squeegee mop to clean up excess water, & having the toilet in a different room across the hallway was nice.

This was a nice spacious room and private bathroom! Quiet neighborhood, good Wi-Fi. I traveled here in the off season and without a rental car and I do not recommend unless you don’t mind walking A LOT. Just a tip. The room was fantastic! I walked to Omaha beach and the American cemetery which was about 30 mins. Overlord museum is only a 10 min walk!

Just get a rental car if you stay here. Even in the regular season, so you can see the sights a little further away like Pointe Du Hoc and Maisy Battery. Everything else was great!

There was no breakfast - no one from the facility made contact past an email that showed me how to access the room. I prefer a host who can enhance my visit .

I was on my own throughout my stay! I would have preferred some interaction - information about the area - location of a coffee shop.

Good location, clean, warm, modern

Could be posted in the booking that the village is closed during winter / non peak time. Needs a bigger floor mat or some place for shoes so we didn't track mud in everywhere. Had to take them off outside. The TV is small for the room/bed distance but I think during summer/ peak season people are out more. We only had daylight from 9 to 6 really.

Location less than a mile from the Normandy American Cemetery at Omaha Beach. Nicely decorated with everything you need for a comfortable night's stay.

Not much in the way of restaurants or markets nearby so either bring food or have transport to go get some.

Calm, rural location. Proximity to historical monuments. Nice, small garden, convenient once travelling with a dog. Good however remote contact with owners. Very comfortable bed.

The location is deserted no bars, shops etc. If one wants to cook something there is no such possibility. Otherwise is convenient to spend a day or two.
