There is very little not to like about this Chateau. Prices at the bar as expected are quite steep but the quality cannot be questioned. The staff are extremely polite, helpful and want to make your stay enjoyable. Facilities are great with the pool jacuzzi and sauna available form early to late. Room 23 needs a wardrobe to hang shirts and dresses for the evening, that is my only gripe.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and there are several highlights worth mentioning. Location and Ambiance: The overall location of the hotel is fantastic. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a stunning view of the castle and beautifully maintained gardens. This initial impression set the tone for a truly memorable stay. Service: The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we checked in. Their warm hospitality greatly enhanced our experience. Accommodations: Our room was impressively spacious, providing plenty of comfort and relaxation. The amenities were well-maintained and the decor added to the charm of the stay. Recreation: The swimming pool is a major highlight. It’s not only large and clean, but also beautifully designed, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoyment.

I think they could be more picky on a few things so that the experience becomes excellent: - There was almost no water pressure in the showers at the pool. - The shower in the jacuzzi/spa area was not working. - The power strip in our room was not working. - The fruit salad at breakfast was canned fruit salad and there were no scrambled eggs. The pancakes were not homemade.

restaurant was wonderful..the food was magnificent..breakfast buffet was perfect.....staff was very accommodating...friendly...perfect!!! they went out of their way to make you happy. the grounds were beautiful...nice to take a walk.

the location was magnificent to look at.....the only drawback....we did not have a car...and there was no hotel shuttle to train station or town. it was 20 euros each way. we paid nearly 1000 Euros for 3 days...and it would have been very nice to have a hotel shuttle. Other than that...we loved the time there...i did not want to leave...we would gladly return.

Beautiful chateau in a lovely setting. The 6-course meal with matched wines was superb. The other evening meal we had in the restaurant was also excellent. The Hors D'Oeuvres and drinks served on the terrace were very good. The atmosphere on the terrace was soothing. The breads and desserts were exceptional. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

The fruits, meats, and cheeses served at breakfast were very good. The breads and pastries were outstanding. However, we did not like the scrambled eggs, which were lukewarm at best and had the consistency of a creamy soup. They were more easily eaten with a spoon rather than a fork! A chateau of this class should have a station where omelets and other types of eggs are prepared to taste. The coffee maker in the serving room did not work the entire time we were there (4 nights). We were able to occasionally get a cappuccino or espresso from the kitchen, but the wait was often quite long due to the sparse staffing for breakfast.

Beautiful historic building and stunning grounds. We had a problem with our room window but they managed to find us another room straight away. Amazing grounds, peaceful swimming pool and spa. Great breakfast. A truly wonderful building.

Our rooms were actually quite dated and tired. I don't mean because the y were in the historic building ! However an excellent member of staff told us that all of the rooms are going to be re-modelled and renovated. They have already done the reception area and if they do the rooms to the same high standard and design then they will be fantastic. Unfortunately the road noise is a little bit intrusive at night.

Beautiful premises (inside and out), rooms comfortable and reception was accommodating to a late arrival. Restaurant also accommodated a veg option. Great location to visit Bayeux tapestry and d day landings sites.

Spa could do with a slight refresh, would be great to have alternative options to high end food. (Bar snacks?)

Ah! It’s a must visit experience for everyone. It is almost like living in a castle. Beautiful gardens, great staff, lovely spa. My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. The city is so lovely and the people are very kind. The food is amazing.

The property is stunning and I the perfect position if your intending g to visit the D-day landing sites

The communal areas of the property were amazing. Unfortunately the bedroom need updating they was clean but looked a little tired there was a distinct lack of power outlets in our room

Comfortable bed and well-equipped room. Great food (breakfast and dinner). The staff were all friendly and very efficient. We loved the setting of the hotel and enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Thank you to everyone for making our 25th wedding anniversary so special!

A really special place. You feel a sense of grandeur as you drive in and very welcome when you check in. Could benefit so much more if not just an overnight stop, but even then it is a close launch to the Normandy coast and Bayeux.

Room itself is not a highlight, but it is easily lifted by the whole surroundings.
