Very helpful staff. Nice bar. Reasonably priced restaurant. Exceptionnel shower for disabled guests

Staff were hard to identify. When I first saw the lady from behind the bar I thought she was another guest coming back from the gym. For a four star hotel I would have expected the staff to have some kind of uniform (or at least all dressed in the same colour). Only one desk style chair in bedroom, again for 4 star I would expect seating for two. We were in a room for disabled guests but not all disabled guests are in wheelchairs.

Very pleasant hotel. Lovely staff. Room was large, bright, quiet and comfortable. The hotel was in a quiet location on the edge of town and had a garden / terrace area and pool, plenty of parking space, and other amenities. Yet the town centre was easily accessible on foot. I particularly liked the choice of different formulas for breakfast at different price points.

The price seemed very inflated.

Excellent staff, very good food and very comfortable rooms. Lots of parking, walking distance of Bayeux and provides an excellent location to explore the area. Really nice garden at the rear of the hotel - the gardner should be congratulated. Nice swimming pool. Would very happily stay again. We were very fortunate to choose the hotel on the basis of the parking!

Exceptional breakfast, high quality services, very nice staff. High quality services as you would expect at a Novotel hotel.

The rooms are a bit aged (ceilings, windows), they would need a bit of renovation. The furniture, bed and fixtures were in very good condition, the overall quality was good, but not at Novotel standard elsewhere. I stayed at other Novotel locations in other countries and there is a big difference between the one in Luxembourg for example and this one.

Newly updated, ground floor room which was very comfortable. Location was a little out of the old city but we caught taxis which were always available. Dinner the first night was pretty average and not really value for money.

There was no safe in our room but we were able to lock our passports in an individual safe at reception. Restaurant was ok but would recommend you eat out in the evenings.

Location excellent for Bayeux and driving to surrounding areas. Plenty of free parking available. Good selection at breakfast

No safety deposit box in room or mini fridge. No decaf coffee at breakfast. Limited menu in restaurant for evening meal .

Easy access hotel with car parking. Very friendly and helpful staff, good size and comfortable rooms. The hotel is about 15 -20 minute walk to the city centre, so easy to see the Cathedral, Tapestry and beautiful city. The Museum is reasonably close too. From Bayeux it is about 20-30 minutes drive to Caen and the Normandy beaches for further sightseeing.

Bathrooms have shower/bath which is quite high, so may not suit young children nor the more elderly. No mini bar in the room, no bottled water, although these are not a priority.

Size of rooms, facilities, swimming pool and attractive private garden to the rear

Lack of fridge in room(unlike other Novotel eg Le Mans). Traffic noise, especially motorbikes, on the road to the front. This is muffled by the double glazed windows when closed but management should consider growing a thick hedge to the front of the property.

Location was perfect, being just outside Bayeaux. 5 minutes by car to town centre and museums. Hotel had good facilities. Free parking onsite was very beneficial.. Good sized room with ensuite batfh with shower . Kettle for making hot drinks. Plenty of electric sockets.. Good level of cleanliness.. Free Wifi.

Double bed was badly positioned with about 2 metres to spare on one side but less than 0.5 metres on the other side,! It was very difficult to get in and out on that side. Matress harder than we would like, but maybe that's down to personal taste. Continental breakfast was overpriced at 20 Euros per person. Make sure you keep your receipt handy if you pay prior to departure date. The gent on Reception iwhen we checked out nsisted we owed money for a breakfast and i had to go through my luggage to find my receipt from the night before, proving we had paid in full. It delayed our departure which was not ideal considering we had an early ferry to catch.

Comfortable room and beds, clean and fun outdoor pool made it a favorite of our teen son, and they had the best breakfast of any place we stayed in Europe! The staff was very friendly and helpful, too! The whole experience was one of our best of our entire trip!

I hadn't realized that it was located on the outskirts of Bayeux and therefore not as easy to walk to the city center for us older folks, but the taxi was very reasonable and the drivers friendly and informative.
