I didn’t have BF. The location was good. About 2-3 blocks from attractions and restaurants.

. I was actually worried because the reviews were not so good for this hotel but it turned out to be better than I expected. We had the handicap room so we didn’t have any stairs and it worked out for us. The only small thing that I didn’t like is the check in time. The hotel was closed with nobody at the reception when we got there so we had to wait for 4:00 pm. We had a car so we didn’t mind so much but for others arriving by train this might be inconvenient.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with a good selection. The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the main attractions but very quiet overnight. The bed was comfy and the whole place was very clean.

The shower pressure was pretty feeble. We were on the top floor and it’s an old building but it was very slow. Also there is no lift so you have to carry your bags up a lot of stairs to the top floor!

This was a good room fairly near to old town. Good value.

We booked a family room that was divided into 2 floors. First floor had queen bed and closet with toilet without sink. Second floor had 2 twins beds with shower and sink. You have to climb to 2nd floor to wash hands after using toilet. Awkward, but with older building I guess that is how it had to be constructed.

Great hotel. Hope to come back. Especially loved that there is secure bike storage available. Great access to the centre of town and all the tourist sites. The owners were so lovely and helpful.

A small mini fridge in the room could have been useful, as we had cheese leftover from our train journey. This was not a biggie though and we loved the place.

Staff was very nice and the rooms were comfortable.

The main area of Bayeux is a bit of a walk but close enough. There’s not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel so you have to walk a good ways to get to restaurants and sights. But that’s the only thing I can say that we didn’t like and it wasn’t that bad of a distance to walk.

Great location for a base to explore the surrounding areas. Booked off season and was like having a town all to yourself. Highly recommend especially if you are driving yourself. If booked on their weekend Sunday/monday they don’t open till check in says, so if arriving early you’ll have to wait a bit. So make accommodations accordingly.

Lovely little hotel in Bayeux about a 10 minute walk to Place du Quebec. I was solo so had a small room with a single bed. The layout is of odd; the shower and sink in the bedroom and the toilet in a separate room. The is also small room with a closet, desk and place to put suitcase. Nice staff and good value. Very clean. Clean and basic.

The property was fairly close to central Bayeux but fair enough out to escape to go touring. 5 minute walk to shops, Bars/restaurants & market. Staff were friendly and the room very clean and quiet.

The rooms don’t have a kettle/tea, coffee facilities. Only available for breakfasts. The towels were clean but old, quite thin.

Cute little hotel in the heart of Bayuex. Close to everything, yet still off the main square. We were a ten minute walk past tons of shops to the tourist section of town.

Just remember to bring your own toiletries. There wasn’t any soap or shampoo in the shower, however we had brought our own so it was fine.

We loved that it was in an 18th century building and there was an old stable in the back that was renovated. Quite charming. The breakfast was very good and we were able to boil eggs as we like them. The owners were friendly and helpful.

There is no Uber in the city, nor was there a taxi available to take us to the hotel from the train station. We thought it would be a short walk but it took about a half hour as we had backpacks and also pulled our luggage on the cobbles up and down narrow streets. Thankfully, we asked the owner to arrange a taxi for us so we could catch our train when we left. Good thing, too, because the taxi was late and we made it with six minutes to spare!
