Amazing location in the heart of Bayeux. Shops and restaurants just steps away. Very friendly staff. As expected, we had no issues as English speakers. We didn’t have a chance to use the amenities (pool, bar, breakfast, etc.), but all looked great. The hotel had a parking lot and options for a three-person room, both of which are hard to find. The room and bathroom were spacious.

The hotel doesn’t have AC at present, so it’s a consideration if you’re used to AC in the hotter months. The bathroom had an open shower setup, so we spent a fair amount of time drying the floor so we wouldn’t slip while at the sink. We didn’t like that aspect, but I can see how an open shower may have been the best option for the space. That said, we would stay here again.

The room was quite large, clean and with comfortable beds but the hotel did NOT have air conditioning which Booking.com had listed online and was important in selecting the hotel. Air con is not listed online so I think this is a Bookings own error. We did get multiple room fans which helped. The staff was very kind and helpful with taxis and talking to restaurants. Hotel is quiet and had a good central location, walkable to the train station, cathedral and tapestry museum.

Very warm in rooms even at night

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for exploring Bayeux, just a short walk from the Cathedral, main shopping and market areas and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel itself is a beautiful building and the room and facilities were great. Thank you for making our first trip to Bayeux a great experience and we hope to visit again soon and will certainly look to stay with you again

The location was great, and the breakfast was very good. It was also nice that it had a pool and hot tub, and it had quad rooms to accommodate families.

It was much smaller and older looking than I expected given the name, and we had to cross the parking lot to get to the quad rooms. The quad rooms were also in their “annex” that had no elevator, so we had to walk up a couple of flights of stairs. That was only a problem when getting our luggage up and down, but the staff did offer to help if needed.

I liked the pool and the hot tub. The room was very nice and bed very confortable. The location is perfect to the centre of town, 5 minute walk and there was plenty of parking nearby. Would stay again.

It would be good if the room had Air Con and a mini fridge, that would be my only comments, but would not be a deal breaker, would stay again.

We overall atmosphere of the hotel was wonderful. The location was walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all so kind, patient and very welcoming. They were always happy to answer our questions and help us.

I wish the tv was a smart tv so we could have had Netflix or a streaming service. The parking was a pain and the area to park is very small and difficult to maneuver.

Hotel is in a great location in the centre of Bayeux and a 5 min walk from restaurants, bars and shops. Bedroom was nicely decorated and very spacious & clean with a lovely modern bathroom. Great pool and bar area.

Breakfast options and food quality not as expected for a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is really nice and authentic. Great location, close proximity to all the shops/restaurants. Coffee machine and water provided in the room. The spa area was very quiet at the times that we were there and the pool/bar are open till past 22:00. The pool is heated and the hot tub has different settings so it's a great experience. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

We didn't expect that you had to pay for parking so that was surprising. Anyway it appeared that on street parking was free Sunday to Monday 9AM and we used that, we then moved the car to a carpark next door which was 3 euros for 5+ hrs as it worked out cheaper for us for the time that we were in Bayeux.

The rooms were lovely and well appointed just a little on the small side but not an issue. Staff were helpful and friendly. The pool and spa a definite bonus. We were a mix of adults and teenagers all felt happy and comfortable in the hotel. the breakfast was good but I feel a little expensive at 17 euros pp. The hotel was in a great position in Bayeux to explore and walk to all the main points of interest.

Close proximity to city centre. Comfortable room if not very plush. Good breakfast. Free all day/night parking nearby. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to use the spa or pool which may have enhanced our experience (or not!)

Our room was perfectly adequate but somehow a bit lacking in style. Separate toilet was good but it didn’t have its own washbasin.
