The room was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast option was nice, although it was a bit limited. The restaurant next door was very convenient.

The hotel was selected by location and the fact that it advertised that it was air conditioned. The a/c in my room, 223, did not work, and it was cooler in the hall. The coffee machine was not available after breakfast like it was in the Thistle Express in Luton. They had a vending machine for the coffee instead. After a long day of touring, it would have been nice to have a couple of cups of coffee.

We stayed for one night after taking the ferry, and as with previous visits it worked perfectly for a one-night stay. The hotel has a large secure car park, the rooms are a decent size and the extra-large bed was comfortable if a little bit firm. Even when arriving at around 11pm there was someone friendly there to greet us which we like. Breakfast was buffet style and perfectly adequate to set us on our journey. Many thanks - we'll stay again.

The bathroom was excellent as we had booked a disabled room. The access was easy. The bed was huge and very very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an excellent restaurant next door which just involved walking round the corner - no distance at all.

Nothing to improve on. Being British we like to have tea and coffee making facilities but understand this is not the norm in French hotels . Perhaps a complementary bottle of water would have been good.

We have stayed at this hotel several times when arriving on the ferry from Portsmouth, and yet again our stay was perfect for us. We arrived after 10pm and there was still a real person there to check us in and help with any questions. The rooms at the Ace are larger than most comparable chains so the room did not feel cramped. There is plenty of secure parking at this Ace. The breakfast room is quite large and airy with adequate choice (but no hot food options).

Great value and excellent location. Hot breakfast daily was also a great value. Front office staff was multilingual and helpful. Nearby restaurants and grocery store if you just don't want to get in your car. Ample parking. Very little road noise.

Rooms are small and just okay. The rooms could be cleaner. No tub, just a shower. TV turns on when you enter the room. Very annoying. Not near any of the city center sites so you need to drive and pay to park.

We turned up very late after our ferry but the hotel easy to find and easy to park. The room was clean, cool, dark, quiet and had comfortable beds so we slept very well. Breakfast was great, lots of options. It looks like it is on a busy road in a business district but inside is quiet and it was a short walk to the very beautiful park Colline aux Oiseux.

Good size room, clean and comfortable and ideal for a last night of the holiday. We didn't have time for dinner at the excellent restaurant next door and were up too early for breakfast although the machine downstairs sold drinkable coffee. Nice big carpark

Hose was split on shower so water went everywhere but on you body. Signage in & out of the place or lighting was poor. Especially if arriving after a long day or leaving before it gets light

Beautiful and clean, the room was a great size, with comfortable beds and a powerful, clean shower. The staff were so friendly and asked about our trip and our stay. They made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was lovely, and such a wide variety of food. Families and dogs made to feel welcome. Parking was free and secure. We have zero complaints or suggestions. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return.

Stayed one night as a stopover on our way further west. Greeted by a very friendly and helpful man on reception whose English was excellent. Rooms were large and clean and the carpark was big and securely surrounded by a high fence so I had no fear about leaving a fully packed car and roof box overnight

We stayed overnight before catching a ferry to Portsmouth the next afternoon. The man on reception was very helpful and gave us information about the nearby restaurant "Le Tablier", which proved to be an excellent choice. The car park was secure and we slept well. Breakfast (cereal, toast and plentiful coffee) was perfect for us, other continental options were also available.
