Pool was clean and tidy, nice little areas to relax. Staff were really good and super nice!

I think France in general needs to catch up with gluten free. My wife is coeliac (needs to be gluten free), and whilst the staff were good and knowledgeable and they did have some gluten free options for breakfast, it was right next to normal gluten produce so cross contamination is an issue. May seem like a minor thing, but when you have a disease or allergy for wheat/gluten it is something which is preventable by creating space and high lining better the gluten free section.

Nice hotel that is on the outskirts of Caen. Free parking, and a large restaurant/bar area. We only stayed for one night as a stop over to Brittany so didn't use the facilities on offer such as the heated swimming pool. There's a fast food estabilshment across the road that does tacos which were surprisingly tasty and cheap, and a petrol filling station 2 minutes away with drinks/crisps etc. Would we stay again, of course.

here is enough space in the family room. It has a safe and a minibar, which are nice features. Because of the low water pressure, the shower is okay. The bed was uncomfortable and excessively soft. Breakfast was just average. It disappointed that there were no fresh veggies and that the fruit juices were premade. It's a great place to travel around Normandy.

Good shower with enough pressure. Free parking. Airco was working well. Swimming pool had nice warm temperature (28 degree Celsius). Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, and the kids could eat for free. Dinner in the evening was also very good.

The pillows were not good. Luckily I always bring my own. Not very cheap (€162 per night without breakfast).

The Novotal had suffered a major water leak and were unable to check us in on arrival, whilst they awaited repairs as they had no water at all. They had provided an alternative at their nearby Mercure Hotel, which we found excellent, recently refurbished, very nice rooms and a great breakfast. The managed this difficult situation exceptionally well.

The hotel and the staff were very helpful and agreeable to my request to leave my car there for several days. The breakfast was great. Extremely comfortable beds

The neighborhood is a little isolated- nothing, not even shops or restaurants in walking distance. My only other small niggle was that it was often difficult to find staff- nobody at the desk, nobody at the bar. They were great when they finally showed up though!

Great location, good parking facilities were excellent. Good breakfast. Limited choice evening meal menu but excellent quality and value for money.

While eating one evening meal the staff were busy preparing the tables for breakfast next morning. We felt we needed to rush our food and get out of their way!

The room was big, with a comfy large bed, and very clean. The best thing was the hotel although full was so very quiet. It had tea & coffee making facilities, yes it had a kettle which is unusual for France. Breakfast was fabulous and well worth the money.

Finding it was a nightmare, we could see it be could not workout in the dark how to get to it. You need to go up the slip road which takes you on to the tram tracks and then you have to drive along the tram tracks avoiding the trams. It was obvious and the next day I had to ask how you then get out of the carpark on the tram tracks.

Good location, clean room, attentive staff

Initially our room only had “air cooling”, which made for an uncomfortably warm night. We were then given an “upgraded” room with proper air conditioning.

The quiet area

We o we looked the pool on the 1st floor and had to men talking (LOUDLY) on the terrace until 3am . Terrace should have been closed at 11.00pm!! Air Con gives me headache but was unable to open window and it was a warm night . Also only meal available was a BBQ night maybe other options as well as not everyone likes BBQ food .
