Best place in Caen. Our friends staying at the local hotels were envious of our arty Haussmann style apartment with its lovely high ceilings and tall windows :) get the breakfast and the fire kit. We enjoyed the fire place glowing in the evenings. On Friday mornings the weekly market is right outside your door. Note there is no lift so consider booking the first floor apartment.

Only minor quibble is the sleek black bathroom walls and decor is too dark to apply make up or dry/style hair, and there’s not a lot of other options for this in the apartment

This apartment is designed with great charm, focusing on the comfort and well-being of its guests. The decor is impeccable, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the sheets and towels are wonderfully soft. Every morning, fresh croissants and a baguette are delivered, and the apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable—you can walk everywhere, and it's right in the center, yet tucked away in a quiet spot. While there’s no private parking, it’s easy and safe to find a spot nearby. You can pay to park on the street right outside the apartment, or just a short 5-minute walk away, there’s free parking available.

Spacious & beautiful apartment located in the very center of Caen. Very quiet neighborhood. Perfect place to relax after the long days of exploring Normandy. The place is filled with nice books you can explore while relaxing at the apartment. Enough space for 4 adults (one bedroom and living room). Our host Salome was very attentive, we had very early check out and she postponed our baguette delivery so we could have breakfast before we go. I love the design of the living room at the main entrance. We"ve stayed only one night, but it was great!

Best place to stay in Caen, by far. I visit Caen regularly to see family. Over time, I’ve stayed in each of the three apartments: all very tastefully decorated and comfortable, an experience of French charm and taste (the owner is an interior decorator, designer, and writes cookbooks as well, the epitome of French flair). Maybe the top floor apartment should be avoided by the elderly as it’s 3 flights of stairs and a little quirky, although quite delightful and benefitting from a small terrace. The location could not be better, within a few yards of the central Place St Sauveur and in the middle of the old town - restaurants, cafes, multiple bookshops (both new and secondhand) nearby (for French reading bibliophiles, English books are scarce), etc… Reception is arranged by lovely Salomé who always goes out of her way to accommodate our needs and provide information.

We stayed one night in the apartment on the top floor, with a small terrace. The building is old though fully renovated, located in the centre in a quiet place. There is a good hitting system installed which makes temperature warm in every room. Love and attention to every detail, excellent quality lines and towels. Breakfast (bread and croissants) delivered at 7:00 am; butter, water and jam are in the fridge. Absolutely deserved Michelin recognition (we initially found this apart in the Michelin guide). Thank you and bravo!

The location was excellent right in the centre of town. Fresh bread delivered for breakfast every morning. Although we ate out the facilities were excellent for self catering. Salome who met us to hand over the keys was superb pointing out the issues concerning parking on the day of our arrival and keeping us updated until our arrival. She was an excellent reference point for restaurants etc.

My only real issue is another comfortable armchair in the living area would be a benefit, although there are two, one is very contemporary and although reasonably comfortable people of my age struggle to get out of it

This was my favorite place out of four that we stayed in France. The host was amazing and very accommodating. The apartment itself was beautiful, spacious, well maintained, and in a great location. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to all.

My only caution is that it is close to a bar that remains open until very late on the weekends, so be sure to bring some earplugs if you plan to stay at that time.

This was a gorgeous apartment and I loved being able to enjoy it for our last night in France. Really well equipped and fantastic location. Beautiful decoration - appreciated by adults but harder for the kids to keep their hands off!

It was just hot and noisy at night so we had to navigate that.

The apartment was great, very special style and very cozy. Also very centrally located. Great service in the morning with baguette and croissants, extremely friendly staff. The couch bed was also very comfy. We would definitely come back.

The bathroom was rather small for 3 adults for a week - but the shower was nice.

Super fast Wi-Fi. Madame Laurence is an absolute delight and Salomé super helpful. Apartment 2 (Contemporary - deluxe apartment) is a modern renovation with tasteful art and design fitout. Comfortable bed and bedding. Bread delivery. Safe bicycle storage in madam's office!
