Comfortable beds, pleasant staff; especially the night manager (sorry I didn't see her name but very heloful).

Rather disappointed by the lack of food on a Sunday evening. We asked about booking a table for an evening meal & we were told the restaurant closed at weekend evenings. Imagine our surprise when we returned from going out to get food to see the restaurant was full of people enjoying their evening meal!

This is a small budget hotel, perfectly suited for our needs which were just a place to sleep before catching the ferry early next morning. Close to several eating places, including the one on site, a supermarket and fuel. Very clean, good shower and bed, staff were efficient and friendly. Surprisingly quiet inside the room.

Bigger mugs to make the tea with, and a larger kettle to match.

Easy access from motorway, if you’re heading to WWII sights, Easy parking. Nice restaurant. Tasty food and quick service.

Totally unacceptable ”mistake” to try to charge staying twice as the clerk was the same person when accessing the hotel for the first time and the clerk saw the reservation already being paid and confirmed it on arrival.

Perfectly clean, comfortable, nice staff, everything was amazing. Room was spacious and no problems at all. I especially appreciated the lady in the evening when we arrived. I was talking in french and she recognized I was not native, but that I had no big problems speaking and she continued speaking french. Great staff is worth gold.

Twin bedroom. Clean tidy and just as advertised. We had a more than adequate evening meal in a very pleasant location. A good atmosphere and it was very busy. All the staff were polite and efficient and spoke good English which was our bonus. I will highly recommend this Hotel to friends. We did not have breakfast.

Nice, clean place to stay. The room was small but clean and comfortable bed.

We couldn't get anything to eat. We were told on arrival that the restaurant was closed so we had to go to another hotel for dinner. There didn't seem to be any restaurants in the area within walking distance. When we returned to the hotel after dinner, the restaurant was open. Maybe it was for a private function but we were not told that. The breakfast the next morning was good tho, but no hot breakfast items.

Very easy to book at late notice, staff were accommodating of late arrival time and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good temperature, no noise… everything we needed. Paid extra for the breakfast but it was a good one.

A little expensive especially with the additional cost of the breakfast.

It is an excellent location close to main routes. Staff helpful and friendly. Great value for money. Very comfortable bed with good linen.

Friendly, helpful staff. Well appointed rooms. Good location for access to the WW2 Memorial & Museum Very quiet.

Access ti tge City by car was difficult, although public transport bus located very close to the hotel.
