Great location for access to Caen and the surroundings. Staff especially on reception were friendly and helpful esp on arrival. Good parking facilities with access to 2 bus routes into town. Breakfast was very pleasant and not hurried. You could linger. Plenty to eat. I was impressed as there was a very comprehensive hotel brochure with much useful information - very rare in many hotels I have visited. Attentive staff! The room main door was very secure. Thanks for a great stay.

The room was quite small but adequate for a short stay. But good heating and aircon if needed.

First and foremost - I have to compliment the dedicated team working there. Gaspar was exceptional - in fact so much so I believed he was part of the ownership of the hotel because he was so welcoming and friendly and dedicated to customer service. The other staff were extremely friendly and receptive - they should be rewarded and acknowledged for their service. The property is within easy walking distance from the Caen War Memorial and within 15 / 20 minutes drive from the port of Ouistreham. Very comfortable beds with air conditioning.

Property is small but clean, great location, very nice staff starting time the reception and housekeeper. The staff are friendly and helpful. Ludivina and Katherine are very helpful. The housekeeper that help us was also very accommodating but did not get her name sins we were running late from checking out. The breakfast was good and clean. Place is close to downtown and Caen memorial and to other tourist spots. The room is small but the water pressure was really nice

Room on the ground floor. Very quiet. Bigger than expected. Lovely shower. Staff super helpful and so friendly. The restaurant served excellent food in a very nice atmosphere. As a solo female traveller, I was not treated as second class by them at all. Breakfast was excellent too. WiFi once I got it sorted with the staffs help worked really well. Parking was easy. Hotel on the Edge of Caen so perfect for me. Cycling easy into centre from hotel.

Location was excellent for our travel needs and easy to access. Good amount of available parking on site. The staff were all really very friendly and helpful and made it very clear they could help us in English as our French is not great. The bed was really very comfortable and everything in the room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was well presented with good quality options especially the apple juice.

The tv is one that has apps available to use like Netflix etc but the tv is not connected to the internet so this function cannot be used. The hotel wifi did not work on our devices either. As we were staying for one night this was only a small inconvenience but if we had been staying longer we would have asked for these items To be remedied

Our stay in Caen was excellent during our trip to Normandy. The staff were very attentive and ensured that all our needs were met. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on the night we checked in, which was a bit disappointing since I had a great experience dining there last year. Nonetheless, the breakfast in the morning was excellent, featuring delicious options and great coffee. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Caen.

Great independent hotel with friendly hosts. Good breakfast. Free parking which was a bonus having the car and easy access in to Caen centre or onward travel. Would definitely stay here again.

The kids in the floor above (they may part of the owners family?) were very noisy at times, although it was quiet at bedtime. Not much around locally for dinner if you do not have a car.... this didn't affect us.

Our stay at the hotel was truly delightful! The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, making us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The bed was wide and comfortable, with great lighting and impeccable cleanliness. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. We also loved the delicious and varied breakfast selection. Highly recommended!

The property is in a good location easy to find and they even let me park my motorcycle under there canopy at the rear of the kitchen. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful we didn’t have breakfast as we were out early to catch the ferry back to England so cannot come on that. Had a nice little bar with good beer.

Quick check in, English speaking receptionist who was very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and perfectly suitable for a budget place. Good parking and facilities

Only problem was that receptionist was to overworked to run the bar as well as deal with guests problems, but that wasn't his fault. He was lovely.
