Breakfast was great! Staff were OVER THE TOP! My rental car battery died on a national holiday when every repair shop was closed and they went out of their way numerous times to try to help me. During a stressful time, they did everything they could to make my stay the best it could be. Room was clean and spacious. Parking was easy.

The room had an unusual smell, not sure if there was new carpet, but it smelled a little like burned rubber. Went away after you got used to it, but the room was so conveniently located on the first floor and we were only there to sleep so we pushed through it.

This hotel provided an excellent location to stay the night before boarding a ferry at Caen. The 6.30 start for breakfast was very useful for an early start... and they did offer grab and go too. We were given a lovely welcome and the hotel was new, clean and comfortable. Parking excellent.

I had understood from the website, that the hotel could provide lunch and dinner, which was not the case. The neighbouring pizza restaurant saved the day though in respect of finding somewhere for dinner.

Obviously a new building, reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

The coffee, sugar and milk in the room were never replaced but IF you went down to reception the items were readily available. Similarly breakfast the availability of items such as fruit juice and other consumables were not monitored so we had to ask for them to be replaced.

Wonderful and brand new place under the brand Holiday Inn Express. The front desk Team is friendly yet efficient, professional and always want to help and assist guest. The breakfast was nice and service was excellent! I even met the investor/owner and they graciously told me more about the property. I recommended this place and I will definitely stay again….

My television was not working but … it doesn’t really matter …

Really great hotel all around

The only thing I could fault is that there was absolute chaos during breakfast. Clearly the staff need a bit more training. Many things were not available and all round you could feel people frustrated with the breakfast and options availability.. might be a random occurrence but this was our experience for the two nights we stayed.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was great. The location was very convenient for taking the ferry to Portsmouth. What was really outstanding though was the staff. The women at the front desk were amazing. We had some slight hiccups in our travel plans and they went way out of their way to help us get the issues sorted. Enormous thank you to them.

Everything was great.

We booked knowing the hotel is new and would be clean, modern and comfortable which it was. Staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We arrived late and all the car parking slots were taken which was the only downside. Breakfast was good selection and quantity. Overall it got what we expected.

Perhaps more car parking slots or information on what do if full.

Lovely refurbished decor, friendly staff, convenient location for the ferry. Breakfast was tasty. Bar was great.

Food - pizza was cold even after requesting it to be reheated, and for breakfast, we did request for a takeaway breakfast as we needed to leave for an early ferry, but nothing was prepared for us, so we had to rush a breakfast in the restaurant.

We stayed one night just to sleep over, and it was the perfect choice—clean rooms, good breakfast with plenty of options, and surprisingly quiet despite being on a main road in an industrial area, with no need to drive into the city. The staff was exceptionally polite.

New hotel ,easy to find and not far from amenities,functional and comfortable .

Breakfast service is chaotic ,busy service with only one staff member who was also the receptionist! .buffet not replenished automatically but had to constantly ask for basics like milk ,bread, cold meats ,hot dishes.Needs more staff at weekends .
