For the price it was an excellent overnight stop. Plenty of parking very easy, supermarket with cafe / restaurant very near. Surprisingly very quiet (as it’s near a busy roundabout).

Super small room - but had everything needed and this was reflected in the price paid for the area ! Felt odd being on an industrial type estate and next to a supermarket, but once in was a great stopover.

This is a pleasant hotel near Caen. We used our car to get to our desired sightseeing destinations, but that was our intention from the start. In terms of price and bed comfort, I rate this hotel highly and recommend it. Breakfasts was good enough and there is an option to eat outside but under the roof.

The overall rating would have been higher if the air conditioning would work. Lack of it made our stay during the summer a little uncomfortable.

The room was comfortable und large enough for one person. Breakfast was quite ok, but there was a large sipermarket nearby, so need toworry.

If you program your satnav to get there, please make sure to use "Saint-Contest" as the place for the hotel. A street with the same name and number does exist in Caen, but in a quite sleepy neighbourhood - and you might wonder where the hotel actually is. To walk into Caen is possible, however, it takes you about 30 minutes.

As I was catching ferry early morning decided to do the three and a half hour journey the night before. I was able to do a late check in. The gentleman on the desk spoke English which was helpful. The room was compact and extremely clean. There were vending machines inside and in the carpark. There were clear instructions to be able to cast my netflix onto the TV using their free WiFi. Couldn't have asked for more and took the stress out of, what would have been, a very early start at an incredibly reasonable price.

Good motel for an overnight stop on the drive, nothing bad to say. Clean, nice, no noise from the street/roads etc. Of course, only makes sens if you're on car, driving somewhere and just need a place to sleep. Location looks safe, free parking just in front of the entrance.

I had two small towels, more like hand towels, no big one. I could cope with it, not much of a problem for one night stop. I haven't tried breakfast, as it usually doesn't worth it in cheap hotels in France. Some Kyriad Direct hotels might be an exception from this rule though: some of them serve pretty decent buffet breakfast, but it didn't look like this was the case here, so I didn't try.

Easy to find, SuperU next door and it's a nice location. I had a quiet room that was cleaned well, small however nice and warm which suited me fine. Reception lady tolerated my poor french 😁 and if you like walking as I do, then a very pleasant wander to central Caen us about an hour. Breakfast was great, plenty of coffee to fill my car beaker and less than 20 minutes from the ferry port. I like hotels like this - no frills, nice people and you get more than you pay for in my eyes

I've stayed in this hotel several times, before or after cross channel ferries. The staff are lovely, kind and helpful. The rooms are tiny, but the beds are huge and very comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean. There is a large supermarket next door, and a pizza distribution machine and even a launderette in the car park.

The rooms are really tiny, barely room to walk around the bed. Other than that it is all good.

We chose this hotel because of the 24 hour reception, and because it was cheap! It was basic but clean, and breakfast was fine although the space isn't big enough to seat enough guests as mentioned in other reviews.

As mentioned elsewhere, the room is very small. We knew that in advance so can't really complain, but with luggage it was awkward to move around the room.

The breakfast was very good and enjoyable, similar with what I eat at home, no problems with anything. Very enjoyable experience.

Some people's behaviour at night ! Arriving back late and no respect for others, talking loudly and banging doors, but not a problem, this is the world we live in today! But I've learnt to be tolerant in my years.
