The location on the edge of the old town is very convenient for restaurants etc. The underground car parking nearby was great. The room was very clean and the welcome very warm and welcoming, Very good breakfast, delicious scrambled eggs. Next time we come to Caen, we'll hope there is a room vacancy here!

The only negative, and it's only a small one is that there was no hook for the shower head to hang on.

We appreciated the style and theme of the building and the rooms. The owner was very welcoming. It's a cosy place and our suite, consisting of 2 rooms, was very spacious. The breakfast was very nice and consisted of fresh products; some prepared on the spot. The location of this B&B is excellent and the nearby secured parking is a big plus.

The mattress was very soft; this may be preferred by some, but we would have liked it to be firmer. The location right in the city center on a busy street also comes with a small drawback: the bedroom on the front side of the building does get noise from the street.

We are an older couple that stayed 2 nights in the suite. The Abbaye is a charming older B&B that is mostly renovated, with a nice garden atrium. Beds were comfortable, the shower water was hot. It was quiet. Good breakfast and wonderful host.

Full of character and charm. Spacious and comfortable well equipped wonderful position surprisingly quiet. Great breakfast superb hosts. Will recommend it to everyone and will return when going that way again.

Shower was a bit small.

Cozy bedsheets, Nice location, big room space and good breakfast. You can enjoy a nice view of Abbye and a garden. The lady is very supportive and friendly, her kids are with good manners and adorable too

There’s no elevator as it is an antique building, but it’s acceptable. I can’t ask for more

Breakfast superb, above and beyond. Location perfect, city centre but quiet and peaceful. A very kind and caring host. Access arrangements were perfect, and free underground car parking next door was brilliant. A perfect place to stay for a few days, or longer.

A comfy easy-chair in the room to relax on after walking miles is the only improvement required. the view from the bedroom is spectacular, but the dining chairs to sit on could be improved ! A very minor observation.

B&B in an old house right next to the l’Abbaye Hommes and the old (fantastic) church. The atmosphere was fantastic. The house beautiful! The hosts very friendly and helpful.

Wonderfully central, full of character (and stairs which go with the character). Great for walking in Caen.

Nothing they could help. We had a lot of trouble trying to find on-street parking for long enough to get their card for free parking, and in the end just went to the very good and close underground car park, which is not expensive. I would advise doing the same if you hit the same problem - it's no big deal.

Beautiful and traditional French historic house . So close to the centre of Caen . Well appointed , very clean and with a lovely breakfast and warm welcome from the whole family , a real pleasure to stay there .

One night wasn’t long enough !!!!

We loved being there. Our room was spacious with French windows onto the garden and a huge lounge with sofa. Beautiful decor and very comfortable bed. Despite being large the rooms wer e very warm. Breakfast in the first floor dining room was excellent. Our host Segolen was charming.

The bathroom with shower was a little small. The lighting was quite subdued so not too good to read by.
