We stayed here with friends whilst visiting the D-Day landing sites. It was very clean and comfortable and the proprietors were helpful and friendly. We opted to take breakfast in the hotel which was an additional cost but at only €9 we thought this was very reasonable. Well placed to walk out into central Caen and easy access to restaurants etc. We ate at Gustave, recommended by the hotel, and it was very good!

The hotel it down a side street with no vehicle access so you will not be able to drop off bags at the hotel itself. Parking is on the streets nearby which might be a problem during the day. Fortunately we were back at the hotel after about 5.30pm each day and there was parking available close to the hotel. A small fee to pay once you had worked out how to use the ticket machine!

Beautiful location, near square with lots of eateries and a pretty church. Across the street from the Chateau d Caen and easy access to metro.

No elevator. We had very heavy luggage spending 4 weeks traveling in Europe. We stayed on the top floor with a very narrow staircase. Older couples should use caution. No A/C, check the weather. This should not distract from a lovely accommodation.

Room was good , nice shower and comfortable bed

Requires better exterior signage to find Hotel. Luckily I was arriving in the evening otherwise a 5pm check-in is late and would have booked another location. Room had a wardrobe but leaned and had to be kept locked. Sink was too shallow and the shower had no soap dish.

Very clean. Owners onsite and lovely couple. Very accommodating.

Take careful note that they are closed midday. They were kind enough to let us in but the notice of closure is obscure when booking. Overall great place and lovely people. Note that the bathroom in the 3 BDRM unit is in one bedroom and is RV sized. It didn't impact us but could if travelling with a child.

Small but comfortable room overlooking the quiet little street on which the hotel is situated. Fantastically central location. The best hotel breakfast I have had in a long time. The hotel is small but very charming.

We arrived early in Caen and the room was made available. On the day of departure the reception staff was very helpful in helping to find times of buses to the Port. However, the number 12 or 12ex which I thought went from the bus station, also stopped just outside the cathedral which would have been easier.

Staff very welcoming. Super helpful and available to organise early check in and give suggestions for dinner. Amazing breakfast. Clean room and bathroom. Small room but perfect for one night, great value for money.

The room is on the small side and very basic, but that's absolutely fine for the type of hotel

Owners were very kind and helpful. Easy access from the Tram to the train station. WIFi worked well and instructions for after hours access were clear.

Room was just large enough to move in. No air conditioning. Even though it was cool in the evening, the room stayed warm and I had to open the door and run the fan just to sleep. I’d be very cautious about staying here in the summer or during warm weather.

Very friendly welcoming staff. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Outdoor patio area. Central but quiet location 10-15 minutes walk from the historic quarters. Comment: while you can't park next to the hotel, we found a parking spot in a nearby street, then walked from there to the the hotel. // I thought the night's sleep could be a challenge as the bedroom only had a front door (no window) but I slept like a log. Room was cool and quiet.

The staff was very helpful. The room was clean. Although the room lacked air condition (it was okay, because I knew it in advance) and the weather was hot, the climate in Caen helped and the room cooled down during night, so I felt comfortable. There was enough space. The hotel is in the center of the city. I used public transport for transfers, and the bus and tram stops were nearby.
