Great breakfast, good location, very nice staff, a fan in the room. Super clean. Nicely decorated room (Art Deco inspired wallpaper that I really loved), a power socket next to the bed, a wide windowsill that can work as a desk. No card-operated power switch so I could leave my laptop behind to charge.

Smallish room, bathroom, and the shower in particular. For two people it would have been difficult. For one person it works fine!

I liked the fact that it was a smaller hotel. The breakfast was very good for the price. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean and my husband and I easily walked to the hotel from the train station. The Tram stop is located at the end of the block and makes it a super convenient location.

Room was small and would have liked to have had a hot water kettle.

Friendly staff, the lady at check-in was very helpful (even with the language difference!), she kindly arranged for a breakfast tray to be put in our room the night before an early morning start as we were going out before they served breakfast, which was great. The room was spotlessly clean for our whole stay. Location was good for walking to the city centre or down to the river.

Room was quite small (although nice big bed) but fairly typical for a city centre hotel, and unusual bathroom that was more like a cupboard! Had to keep window closed at night even though it was warm due to the traffic noise, but couldn’t be helped. Paid parking was available right outside the hotel but it was difficult to work out the time restrictions and whether we needed to move the car (not the hotel’s fault, but just a heads up for future guests).

The property is situated near both city center and train station. The room was very clean and quiet with a view of the Saint Jean church nearby. The reception is open all day long and it was possible to leave my luggage for c. 8 hours after check-out which was very convenient.

There is no elevator. My room was at the 4th floor, and it was a bit difficult to lift my heavy luggage up there on my own. The breakfast was below average, and one is asked to opt for it the day before, specifying the hour one intends to have breakfast.

Location: - A short walk to and from the SNCF train station - Not far from the Château de Caen. Only a few kilometers from the memorial du Caen. At the memorial du Caen you can book a guided tour to the American military cemetery and d-day beaches for a great price. The memorial is within walking distance and is definitely worth a visit. Room: very clean and the bed was comfortable. The view from the windows was my favorite part (see photo). Was perfect for a solo traveler but would work for a couple also. Staff: the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a young woman there when I checked in and she explained everything very well and was very nice. The next two days there were two men working who were there for breakfast and were very hospitable.

The only thing I wish I could have done was check in before 1500 (3pm).

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good but some hot options like boiled eggs would have been welcome. Nice neighbourhood, easy 10 minute walk to the centre and to the train station. Our room faced the church so we had a good view and it was quiet.

I would have liked the bathroom to have an actual door instead of sliding doors. Not very great from a privacy standpoint.

Very smiley friendly welcome. Very clean. No lift and on fourth floor - fine for me but maybe not for some. I enjoyed the simple cold breakfast layout. Not posh - clearly a conversion - but clean and entirely functional, all I wanted. Five minutes from station, buses and caen centre.

Helpful staff. Parking wasn’t meant to be part of the deal, but Cassandra made a special arrangement for me to park and this made such a difference to my arrival in Caen and my whole stay. All staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is very comfortable and exceptional value for money!

Good location between train station and town centre and literally 3 mins from the tram stop. Typical French breakfast with croissant and baguette with butter and jam (cheese, ham and yogurt also available). Friendly staff who offered to take my suitcase up the four flights of stairs and kept my luggage on the day of departure.

The room was very small, but since I was alone it didn't matter. The bathroom was very small too, but it had everything needed.

Fantastic staff who were so helpful and kind. Very good breakfast- a generous amount and a decent place to sit and eat. A reasonably sized bedroom. En suite also OK - excellent shower for hot water and pressure.
