Ibis has the common standards and similarities in the different countries and locations . I trust this hotel and I am always sure what I will get , the location in Cean is top ! Just in the city centre , busy area and very nice and safe neighbourhood. Restaurants and shopping centre just one min walk . Parking is great with enough car charging slots .

Breakfast was poor , no mini bars in rooms that is a minus.

This is a nice hotel with spacious rooms, a nice bar area and a good breakfast. Its location is excellent, near the station, a tram and free shuttle bus into town and a few chain restaurants in the adjoining shopping centre.

The hotel has an arrangement with the adjacent car park to cover the overnight cost. However on this and previous recent occasions, the machine did not recognise the ticket provided by the hotel.

Our second "Styles" hotel in our tour around northern France and just as good. Hotel service was efficient, warm and friendly. The free upgrade was a lovely bonus. Hotel location was 20 min walk into the centre. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

We parked underneath the hotel which was great for convenience but despite a voucher from the hotel to reduce our hotel parking costs it was still over 20 euros. It would have been 50 euros without and we only stayed one night.

There’s underground parking. It’s partly covered by the hotel unless your car is parked for more than 12h, then you pay the fixed parking’s fee of 30€. We’re quickly outside that bracket if you arrive night time, sleep and visit the next day. We only stayed 1 night so I didn’t ask if it was 30€ per day… Besides that, everything was perfect!!

There is an underground car parking garage underneath the hotel which is most convenient for those who drive. An excellent choice of dishes is offered for breakfast. The staff were super helpful and amazingly understanding - most embarrasingly, our puppy lost control of her bladder in the foyer, but the receptionist was friendly and professional, and did her absolute best to assure me that it was no problem at all! We also requested a tax invoice many months after our stay, and received it within minutes.

Staff was polite and professional. The breakfast was superb, they have so many different items..it was nice to have complementary tea and bakery items. Location is great, the streetcar stop right in front of the hotel. Restaurant, theater, good side supermarket is just around the corner will recommend it

The room was stuffy, windows were locked, it would be nice to be able to air the room

Friendly staff and excellent breakfast, everything was fresh with a big range of products.

The underground carpark - a chain of carparks in the region. The attendant was not pleasant when I asked for guidance to the hotel entrance. More annoyingly, we never managed to get our special rate as hotel users. And ended up paying 29.50 euros thanks to the attendant unhelpful and extremely rude behaviour.

Very clean and comfortable, perfect for a one night stay on our trip before getting the ferry back to Ireland. We had a room with a gorgeous view over Caen. Very modern design and friendly staff. I requested an extra blanket and received it directly to the room within a few minutes. Excellent service.

It would have been preferable if there was designated parking for the ibis hotel as I had the impression there would be private parking upon booking. This is one of the main reasons I booked this hotel, so was surprised to find out prior to arrival that it is indeed a shared public car park with a nearby shopping centre and supermarket. In our case, having a fully parked car prior to embarking on the ferry back to Ireland, it wasn't ideal.

Reasonably convenient for Caen railway station (the hotel is reached from the station main entrance via a lengthy underpass), and situated on the the quais of the River Orne, with lots of food outlets nearby. The Reception Staff were welcoming and very helpful.

All OK - the room was basic but functional.

Very easy to access at the end of the canal from the ferry port as we arrived by bicycles. Rooms are spacious, quiet and well designed with plenty of room for luggage. Good size desk. Easy walk into town with plenty of restaurants and bars within a five minute walk. Generous sized bathroom with shower over bath. Breakfast varied and very good. Staff friendly at all times.
