It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was right across from the train station, which was great for us after an eight hour train ride and it was right next to our rental car company. The host on the property was wonderful very pleasant and kind. We had a lovely breakfast, coffee, and croissants sitting outside.

The stairs leading up to the room with luggage were a little difficult for older people. We thought we were on the first floor and we were but in Europe, the flash floor is always above the ground floor as our host reminded us when we asked if we were on the first floor. We were there in early May and it was very comfortable, but I imagine in the summer. It would be kind of hot. There are large windows, but of course no screens. Just something to keep in mind if you’d be traveling in summer.

The location is directly across the street from The train station so only 3-4 minutes and it’s completely secure safe and also comfortable. You need to make sure you contact the staff on your actual checkin time because it’s not from desk staffed 24 hours. But the room is super comfortable and clean.. yes it needs some updating but the room is quiet and comfortable. The staff is friendly and polite and very understanding of different needs. Just be aware that all rooms require stairs to access so if you got a lot of luggage or have some limited mobility there might be issues for you. I had no trouble with all my big luggage and being a train traveler with stairs platforms and escalators I’m sure you can handle any stairs with your luggage no problem so will this place . It was th event shower so far I have stayed

If you are running late past like 8pm make sure you notify the front desk

Friendly helpful staff when booking in. Good sized clean room and en suite. Despite being right on top of a transport hub it was pretty quiet.

The restaurant / cafe / bar closes on Saturday and Sunday so no breakfast available. Also not sure who you would contact in an emergency. The area is pretty run down I didn't encounter any problems but please be aware of your surroundings at night.

The hotel is standing quite opposite the train, bus and tram station, it was just suitable place for my travelling round Caen, its neighborhood and the whole Normandy.

The hotelier was very nice and friendly man, he also runs a nice daytime café. However, he does not answer via SMS. The room could be ideal, if it had a small refrigerator and teapot.

I arrived late at the property due to traffic coming out of Paris. The owner was waiting for me outside the accommodation. It was 8.30pm so I was nervous about trying to find my way. The accommodation is right across the street from the local train station, but you can’t hear any noise when in the room. Great location. Accommodation was exactly as advertised, comfy bed, clean room for a reasonable price. Good value for money, can definitely recommend 😊

Super breakfast and not expensive. Conveniently located next to the bus- and trainstation. Ideal for daytrips to for instance Bayeux. Very friendly owners. Quiet; no outside sounds.

This small hotel is in an ideal location for a quick overnight. It is very close to the train station and the car rental offices. The room is small but comfortable and had everything we needed. It was very clean. The nice man who checked us in let us go to a room a little early since a room was available. Lots of shops and places to eat nearby.

Very central to both train and bus stations. A small but neat and tidy room with a very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the shower. Staff was very friendly.
