We needed a place in Caen to stay for our last night before dropping off car at Caen station. Very friendly staff. It was fun trying to communicate in limited French/English! Liked excellent photographs of historic French and international celebrities in hallways. We enjoyed the food, but only stayed one night. Free Parking Would definitely come back. I think WiFi was free.

We had a good nights sleep after a very delicious and good value meal in the restaurant. The reception staff and restaurant staff were all welcoming and charming. The location was perfect after an early start to catch the ferry from Portsmouth. We arrived in the port and drove to the hotel quickly. We had stayed in Portsmouth the previous night and the comparison is shocking. Portsmouth is a hell hole and Caen a delight. We were happy to face the day and felt glad indeed to be in France.

The continental breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and would definitely recommend the hotel . It was very conveniently situated and we thought Caen was a great destination. The centre of Caen felt very safe, clean and a multitude of cafes and bars and a great vibe. Also for visiting Normandy beaches a great location.

Perhaps more tea and milk on the tray with cups, but that does not detract from a very good hotel

People were really nice, even though we spoke very poor French! Good stopover for us, very clean and everything worked well. Rooms a bit on the small side, but car park that looked quite secure. Great to have a standard checkout time as noon - not always needed but much appreciated by us.

The hotel is about a 15min walk from the town centre, so if you wanted a choice of bars and restaurants that is where you would have had to go.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Thee was a kettle with some portions of tea and coffee which was very nice. It was also well heated. The staff was very helpful and polite. The location is very good, 10 minutes from Caen center (by car) and easy to find. There was free parking at the hotel premises.

Friendly staff (we speak some French but they were happy to speak English). Restaurant in hotel was well priced, portions were generous, and food was tasty. Hotel is great for overnight when catching the ferry and hypermarkets are close by too. Free secure parking on site. Would stay here again.

Location made it very accessible for travelling around Normandy...easy to the motorway and honfleur and the coast. Room was very clean and quiet.

Bed was very hard and small for a double bed. The staff were generally very helpful. The location isn't really very central to Caen city centre. It's a 35 minute walk to the centre of town.

Great value for what you get, staff were exceptionally friendly and very willing to speak or try to speak English. 11/10

The room was just a tad on the small side, but still very comfortable. I wish there were 2 sets of towels provided per person.

Rooms were good for it's price, the location is also excellent. There is a very nice bakery also nearby. Check in and out are very smooth.

Not much, maybe only that the breakfast for which you pay 15 euro separately was very basic.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was on the edge of a nice neighborhood about a 30 minute walk to the center of town. The restaurant at the hotel had wonderful food. We also tried the Pizza Bus just across the street for a lighter meal and a few smaller grocery stores within a 10 minute walk to get a sandwich or snack. Plenty of free parking spaces and spots to charge electric cars too. We stayed here 4 nights as a base to explore Normandy and it was perfect for that.
