We decided on this hotel at the last minute, because after a complication with another accommodation, we needed accommodation for a few days at that moment.. The hotel is a bit more expensive, but, we do not regret that we decided on this hotel. The rooms are newer, spacious and clean. A hotel in a great location, close to the beaches of Normandy - Omaha, Utah, Juno... and close to all the attractions, close to the city of Bayeun and of course just a stone's throw from Caen. Breakfast was great! At breakfast, there was fresh, still warm bread and several types of baked goods. A coffee machine is also available free of charge throughout the day, as well as lemonade and water.

Everything. Very clean, good breakfast, excellent bed, nice shower. Everything you need. Coffee machine and croissants available after breakfast, all day long. I thought it was a very nice touch. The machine is capable of making not only coffee, but also hot chocolate, cappuccino, tea… This is a basic but surprisingly comfortable hotel. I also need to mention the kind personnel. I would come back here without hesitation.

I liked everything, but I would suggest a second coffee machine for breakfast, sometimes there is a line (not a big deal, though). I would also suggest conditioner in the bathroom. I have noticed that many hotels don’t offer conditioner anymore, which is annoying for women with long hair.

The hotel is relatively new, well maintained and the staff is friendly. The hotel also has a bar where you can hang out with friends. The price is relatively reasonable for the location and the summer months.

Reception could be better prepared for the arrival of guests, as many hotels have a smoother check-in process. However, it is true that the lady at the reception did her best and solved the problem when we first got two rooms that were already occupied. And this incident was not pleasant for us, and even less so for those who were in the rooms. But, I know, mistakes happen.

Great place for a night stay or two. Clean room and friendly desk staff. Convenient location with shops and restaurants very close, andof course the Caen Memorial. Very good all round.

The room had a kettle but nothing else; no cups, coffee sachets or tea bags. So complete lack of coffee or tea making facility in the rooms. However when I asked the front desk, the helpful manager did promptly provide a few sachets and 2 more tiny paper cups. Not ideal, but it shows responsiveness.

Staying in this hotel was like staying in a cruise ship cabin--the bathroom and microwave-fridge area looked like the kind of pre-molded units that you get when you set sail. The rest of the room was conventional, with modern furniture and comfortable beds (regular double bed and a double-sided sofa bed). It even had a proper dining table and sliding, hanging vinyl room dividers. Everything was clean, the window drapes fully blocked the light, and there were plenty of power outlets. On-site parking is free.

I can't think of anything that I would complain about or change.

Very pleasant two night stay. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was quiet, clean and the wifi was good. The parking was plentiful. It's situated 5 mins drive away from the Caen Museum. There are a couple of reasonable restaurants which are 10-15 min walk away.

Nothing really. We liked the place which was ideal for our needs.

Perfect hotel for the ferry, with a great restaurant next door as well. Located on the périphérique of Caen Not a beautiful hotel but highly functional.. plenty of parking, space, reception, lifts. Restaurant for breakfast. Asked for a double and a twin room on the same floor.. was accommodated no problem.

Towels were very thin and could probably do with replacing.

Easy access and parking. Walking distance to the excellent Caen War Memorial and plenty of shopping enough eating opportunities near by.

Not much. Some outside seating would have been nice as other hotels nearby had with guests enjoying them as the weather was lovely during our visit.

During our stay in France we were surprised to find 2 of our pre booked hotels located within “ Large Retail Parks” therefore Sat Nav and Google Map locators would announce “ you have arrived at your destination” but the Hotel was not actually within sight, and further searching was required to find the location.

If you are looking for a hotel in the outskirts of the town, the location is perfect. Supermarket and nice restaurant right next to it, 10 min from town center by car. Breakfast is satisfactory. Staff was absolutely amazing.
