We were only able to stay for a single night to break up our journey from the South back to Calais, but as soon as we pulled in to the car park we knew we had made a good choice. The Hotel and garden were just as we'd hoped and in a nice, quiet location literally round the corner from Pegasus bridge. Our 2 rooms were both clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was also very good - a continental buffet, but with a good choice and the best Croissant we had experienced in 2 weeks in France! Will most definitely stay again.
I can honestly stay that there is nothing that I could complain about - the hosts were lovely, the rooms and grounds peaceful and the location perfect.

Great little find. Charming hotel with friendly staff. Nice inner courtyard and walled garden to sit in albeit the weather didn’t permit that. Rooms are well appointed and tasteful with excellent mattresses for a comfortable nights sleep . We ate dinner which was very good and given a larger charcuterie plate than normal. So much so we had to save it for breakfast which the host offered gladly. Hotel is very close to Pégasus bridge although we didn’t appreciate that on booking. Would definitely go back with respective partners who would appreciate the charm.
Nothing to complain about at all.

The staff was exceptional. They spoke English, were always there to assist with a smile, and made sure we felt at home. It was nice that the restaurant and bar were reserved for hotel guests that their friends only. The menu offered enough choice and the food was delicious. Manoir Hastings was a quiet retreat during the hussle and bussle of the 80th anniversary of D-Day celebrations, but allowed us to be in the middle of it all. We even walked the path along the river all the way to Ouistreham. The private gardens were beautiful as well. We would love to stay here again, and will definitely recommend it to friends.
No complaints. Everything was superb.

Not my first visit to Manoir'Hastings and certainly not my last. The hotel is located only a few miles from Brittany Ferries terminal at Ouistreham making it ideal for those with an early morning crossing to Portsmouth and require secure car parking which is available at no extra charge on a first come first served basis. We were given a warm welcome by the staff who were very helpful and sympathetic given that my classic car had broken down and required trailering to the ferry terminal the next morning. The rooms, like the hotel, are spotlessly clean and well appointed with exceptionally comfortable beds.
Nothing - it was all good.

Manoir Hastings is a great hotel if you arrive or leave by ferry from Caen. Its location is very convenient, it's very well priced and the rooms and beds are fantastic. Very spacious, clean, and very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, too, and very good value for money. They offered a great variety of foods and also catered for my gluten- and dairy intolerance. Our dog was also welcome. All in all a fantastic stay, we'll definitely be back and can highly recommend this hotel.

The decor of the rooms and bar/restaurant was wonder. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar was closed on Mondays, which was the day of our stay but the owner explained this on arrival and we made alternative arrangements for Dinner. The room we stayed in was very large and comfortable, again the decor was lovely and very much complementary to its original standing. The owner was very welcoming and greeted us on arrival and was there on departure, giving us some back ground info on the properties heritage. We had two dogs with us who loved the walled garden. The breakfast was good, again in a lovely environment. We would certainly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

It was the perfect location having just arrived at the port. The decor and buildings were beautiful. the staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was unbearably hot - particularly in the loft room. Because of the number of bugs we couldn't have our widows open unless all the lights were off. The bugs also meant we couldn't take advantage of the lovely court yard and bar - sitting outside we got badly bitten. We came down to breakfast towards the end of the breakfast sitting and some of the items had all gone and there were quite a few flies around.

Our room was very clean and tidy with an extra large shower room and toilet. The facilites in our room were good. The staff I met were very helpful and spoke very good English? We did not stay for breakfast as we had an early ferry crossing. The hotel is only about a 10 minute drive to the ferry terminal
I was informed since our last visited the the restaurant now only catered for residents and the meals were simple which they were but also quite expensive . We would stay at this hotel again but probably eat elsewhere.

We arrived late off the ferry, about 22.45hrs, but were nonetheless welcomed with hot chocolate and Calvados in our spacious room. The room was very clean, comfortable and in peaceful surroundings. An early morning walk to Pegasus Bridge before breakfast was a memorable start to the day. The buffet breakfast was comprehensive and the staff on breakfast duty very helpful.
Finding the property in the dark proved tricky, and we ended up at the wrong hotel.

A lovely hotel that feels like a converted monastery. A lovely room and a comfy bed. The staff were very professional and friendly.
The meal offered was limited - a set 3-course menu at a very reasonable price. There were 3 choices of starter, main course and dessert. If you were looking for a gourmet meal you would be disappointed, but the food was delightful, with fresh fish and vegetables on the menu. We were quite happy with the menu here.
