Great breakfast, good selection of food on offer as although I am a meat eater my wife is vegetarian and we were both happy with what was on offer. We have visited on several occasions and will continue to visit as we find the hotel very convenient, well sited and perfectly comfortable and well maintained.

The lift door closing voice is annoying! it isn't clear and always sounds as if the audio output is faulty. The out of hours check in is not easy to operate, partly due to its design which hides part of the instructions at the bottom of the screen, the screen settings need to be reset so all information is visible. As I have used it before I am aware of its quirks and can adapt to it, but another guest, on his first visit was confused by this fault. However I was able to help on this occasion as he was in the lobby with us. The gate to the car park ought to be automatic for increased security, allowing entrance but refusing exit without a valid pin number.

Our previous experience of staying we thought the breakfast was good value. no time to try it again on this visit. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was no noise from other rooms or externally. Very convenient location for the ferry and also shops for food etc. Water was hotted bathroom and shower a reasonable size.

The room was quite large and reasonably lit. would have aappreciated a chair to sit on. Also would have been good in the bathroom if there was a soap dispenser at the wash basin. Leaning into the shower for soap was not ideal. I guess provision of a kettle would up the price.

Breakfast was excellent and great value; overall the hotel is fantastic value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We never received an access code for the front door. It never displayed on the automated self-booking system. We thought we were going to have a problem until I got the confirming email about 10 or 15 minutes later. The vending machine was not dispensing but was taking money, but on the positive side, the hotel staff knew about this and were already dealing with it in the morning and immediately supplied me the bottle of water I had paid for without delay.

The hotel was clean & comfortable. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was good. Good location, close to ferry port if arriving late by ferry.

We checked in after reception hours, so this is done automatically at a machine outside the entrance door. You are shown a 6 digit code which you need to enter the front door & your room. You can request this to be sent by email, but it filled in a default email address at booking.com. I thought I would remember the code, but once inside for various reasons once at the room I had forgotten. It was a bit of a hassle to retrieve the code, but I was helped by an off duty member of staff. My advice if checking in after hours is to write down or take a photo of your code!

Simple,clean, good value for money, breakfast was much better than expected with good choice of ingredients. Comfortable bed, spacious, functional bathroom. A few minutes from the ferry. Evening meals can be had at the Best Western just across the roundabout; apparently there is a discount for those staying at B&B Hotel.

The access codes never arrived, so we, along with a good number of others, were reliant on the night manager to let us in. Given that there is a daily influx of guests from the 10pm ferry , why don’t they just stay open until midnight? Having said which the young man on call was very pleasant and helpful.

I was surprised by the big and comfortable rooms

The system to get into the hotel when there is no receptionist. It was very confusing and instructions are not Very clear. First all, I was told to put in my booking reference number. This never happened. Instead I was asked for my email address. How confusing was that!!! Then I was told I will receive a ticket with my room number and access number. No ticket came through. The screen flashed up my room number briefly but nothing else. I only got into the hotel because somebody was going out. So I kept the door open with my case. A very confusing and stressful experience. Finally, help came on the system with an access code that I had to write down. It's not a great start when you're tired from a long ferry journey late at night. This needs some attention with clear instructions that work.

The rooms are modern, fresh and incredibly clean - perfect for a quick stopover. There was plenty of parking and this was roomy - there were a couple of larger vehicles who had no problem. The facilities in the room were perfect for a short stay.

The only thing that was a problem was the evening check in system. Specifically, the room number and access codes appeared quickly, and we then didn't get an email with these on (as we had just arrived from the UK). If you could please state that the room number and access code is on the receipt that would have made a slightly stressful 10 minutes easier for the groups we arrived with.

A good choice of bread products, otherwise a bit basic but I find that common in France. The machine drinks were not great - my friend's coffee was poor and the water from the machine was not hot enough to make tea. But the price is great, room and bathroom good. Friendly staff, although they are not there during much of the day - I thought their hours were perfectly adequate. Outside it's self-service (check-in via a keyboard) which after a long drive might agitate some.

The location is excellent for using the ferry crossing in or out of Ouistreham and it's easy to find being only 3 minutes from leaving the ferry terminal. There is plenty of car parking. We arrived late but the remote check-in was easy to use. The hotel is still relatively new and the public areas as well as the rooms are bright, clean and airy. The bed was large and comfortable and the facilities in the room were very good. In the morning the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Overall, this is the best B&B Hotel my wife and I have stayed in.

Nothing to dislike.

We stayed one night on 17th March 2024. The hotel is very well located for the town & ferry is less than 5 mins drive away. Excellent value for money. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom facilities with a nice shower. All very clean. Friendly check in staff. Large, enclosed parking with no charge. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that but €8 seems reasonable. Large seating area downstairs, with some lounge style chairs. We sat in the breakfast area to eat pizza we collected from Mama Mia in the town which was very good. I think the hotel offers limited food 6.30 to 8.30pm but no sign of it on the Sunday we stayed. Some of the other places in town were not open the night we stayed even though Google information said they were! You need to book if you want a table at Mama Mia

Unfortunately there was a lot of noise disturbance from people nearby, worse because we like fresh air & keep our window open. I used earplugs & slept well!
