The location was excellent, only half an hour from ferry port and with super views of the beach. Room was large, clean, light and airy. Bed was large and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers/bath. The breakfast {continental style} had a good variety of choice. A fridge, kettle and safe were welcome unexpected additions. We enjoyed the pool and particularly liked the secure parking on offer as the free public parking became less available at busy times {especially during the weekend} Also enjoyed the variety of shops/bistros/bars nearby. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Though bathroom was clean and modern there was no shower screen/curtain so floor quickly became wet. No towel rails in bathroom and the lighting was very dim. Limited storage but fine for short stay {small wardrobe with shelving units inside} Carpet on stairs is worn and appears grubby. The fire doors look grubby with fingerprints of many visitors evident!

Comfortable seaside 4-storey hotel, overlooking road towards beach (a 3 min walk) Rooms towards sea have balconies (not for the feint hearted! See-through wood planking and a feeling of movement ...) Good bath in bathroom (but in-bath shower has no curtain.) Very good choice of breakfast, which one can eat in breakfast room or on patio - or take up to one's room. Parking was full but it was relatively easy (in August!) to find free public parking, immediately in front across road or in well lit car park behind. Pleasant welcoming staff. A good comfortable hotel, offering value; we'd happily return for a few days.

No restaurant, but as there are quite a few good local restaurants within an five/ten minute walk it was not a problem.

Right on seafront with private secure parking at rear (€5pn). Corridors and carpets could do with a refresh but room , linen and bathroom were spotlessly clean and bed was comfy with extra pillows . Garden area with seating and free use of decent sized covered swimming pool at rear ( bring your own towels ) located in centre of busy little resort town and numerous restaurants and bistros right next door to hotel. Good beach Our room was 4th floor - there is a lift - double facing sea front with decent balcony and two chairs 15/20 mins from ferry so good for first /last night Overall GVFM

Would have been nice if they could have supplied towel for pool - even if at nominal cost. (Towels in room are good quality )

Very friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast good choice of food and drink. Bed very comfortable. Swimming pool .Free street parking around hotel. Reasonably priced restaurants near by and in other villages.

A bit irritating that they wanted €5 per night to park within grounds when it’s free outside and that they expected a fee for using sauna and hot tub,

The sea view was superb.The room was a good size and clean. I enjoyed using the lovely pool. The garden at the back is a nice grassy area and has seats provided. The initial reception area is dilapidated and dark but everything else was great. You can park at the back of the hotel in the small private car park which was good and secure.

The location to beaches and restaurants was superb! The room was nicely decorated, large and clean and the view was nice. There was a large window that provided a nice breeze so that ac was not necessary. Staff helped provide phone charger. Very walkable location.

Although the bedroom size was nice the bathroom was rather small and the mattress was SUPER firm. And I am sure staff would have brought an iron and ironing board there was not one provided in the room. The stores all closed early (5ish) and the restaurants didn't offer food before 7-8pm so if you wanted something between those hours you were not likely to find it. Those things did not affect the room rated but the stay as a whole.

Very quiet room at rear with a view over the town to fields beyond, very pleasant and comfortable and the hotel is in a lovely location opposite the beach. Private gated car park was essential for my travel with work equipment and I was very pleased to find secure parking in such a great location, as evidently were the several sports car owners also staying in the hotel.

Slight smell of damp on the stairs and of drains from the washbasin. Absence of a bath in my economy room.

Waterfront hotel. Clean, comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast in nice dining room- cold food only, but fresh and plentiful. Very nice pool.

Hotel is a little dated, No air conditioning, so it was hot at night. Wish we booked an oceanfront room.

We had a fantastic view to the sea. There was elevator to reach the room, in outseason we could park on the opposite side of the road, but the hotel has private parking. We were with dogs, the staff was kind with them too. The garden is clean and ok, we did not used the pool. The breakfast was ok, first the coffee was like tea, in 5 minutes we got new. Bakery, restaurants, and the sea is 20m. All together we loved the place and city.

Veggies, eggs could be great át breakfast. The building is getting old, but meets the price.

Location was amazing, room was tidy and had everything we needed. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The only niggle was the shower head bracket was loose, so did not hold the shower head properly, making it a little difficult to wash properly.
