Oh. I liked everything. From the moment we arrived at the desk. So helpful and spoke in English. The location was absolutely amazing. Also great for the dog's. Places to eat, plenty of. The room was also of a very high standard. Very clean, bed was amazing and 2 pillows each. 😴. After Many years of travelling back and forth to the uk. This is now my too go to place everytime in caen for the ferry.

Only dislike was. 15 euros EACH per dog. I found this far too much. As all they do is sleep in their own beds, and you would never have known that they were there.

Great staff and very helpful receptionist on check-in. The restaurants was lovely and location absolutely fantastic, right on the beach. Staff v helpful in helping to put some bikes somewhere safe overnight before an early morning ferry. Less than half an hour drive to the ferry, which was great. I would definitely recommend despite a couple of minor points on dislikes.

In the evening, hot water seemed to be an issue for the shower but as it was quite a warm evening, a cooler shower went down ok. I think I read of this in other reviews. Again, read in another review, curtains or privacy blinds would be nice, as the only window cover was from the outside shutters in the day and evening.

The staff! They were all delightful, and seemed to have a great team spirit. Great position on seafront. Easy parking outside, though this might have been more difficult in high season. Excellent restaurant.

Bathrooms for rooms over looking the beach are incredibly cramped. When using WC, knees were pressed tight against shower cubicle. Luckily I am not tall, but anyone with long legs might find it impossible. (I believe rooms on other side of building don’t have this problem.)

Situated on the beach front, it's well located for walking along the promenade and beach to nearby places as well as the old town. Breakfast by the sea was perfect. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean, nice modern bathroom and the bed was comfy. Enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant - food delicious. Good access to Normandy beaches & museums along the scenic coast road. Recommend.

We booked to stay for our 30th wedding anniversary as this hotel is beautifully located on the beach. When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view and balcony. We had a meal in the restraunt in the evening and the food was extremely high standard and amazing service. We were made to feel very special.

I can honestly not say anything negative about the hotel, food, rooms and staff.

hotel run by systems - pre-online check in took 10 minutes to complete with questions that were not necessary - completed lots of detail which were asked for again at actual check in - hotel and restaurant appeared to different establishments although they were not - far too much..."computer says no!" a little more customer focus is requuired

We loved the location right on the beach and close proximity to several good restaurants. Le Clos Normand also had a very good restaurant. The cod risotto was amazing and we enjoyed the mussels. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The walls are thin and we could eaves drop on our neighbors ...or they were just loud. The room was of adequate size and as we learned European rooms aren't typically as big as one would get in the USA. The room was cozy and we had great nights of sleep. The bed was comfy but a bit softer than we like...not the hotel's fault cuz how do you cater to everyone's bed preferences.

We arrived late because of dreadful weather on the journey but the staff saved us a place in the restaurant and were very helpful. Food quality delicious and excellent. Our room was very comfortable, bed was superb, lovely view. Decorations and cleanliness throughout was immaculate. Superb breakfast.

Bathroom was very small making use of the loo etc difficult.

Rooms were a bit small, no electric outlet on one side of the bed. No small refrigerator or at least ice machine, though the staff was kind enough to give me ice in a cup :) No safe, not even at the reception office.

Location was great, right on the promenade, nice restaurant, staff very friendly, we missed our ferry due to traffic travelling up through France which could have ruined our holiday, we booked this hotel last minute and it made the end of our holiday very special eating our dinner on the promenade under a lovely sunset with great night sleep.
