We would like to single out Jerome for special mention. We stayed one night and he was the only staff person we saw. He booked us in, helped us with restaurant booking, answered all questions and in the morning seemed to provide and run the breakfast for everyone single handedly with a ready smile at all times!

We used this hotel in Luc-sur-mer as a base from which to explore Normandy & the D-Day landing beaches. I would recommend this hotel for that as it's in a good location .... right on the beachfront The hotel looks to have been recently decorated. The bedroom was not massive but adequate with a comfy bed. It has a TV but only French channels. The bathroom was modern with a large shower & plenty of space. It was great weather and we had the window open all the time. It was peaceful to fall asleep to the the sound of the sea The owners & staff were very friendly & helpful with an easy-going attitude There is a restaurant with a reasonable menu (cannot comment on the food as we did not eat lunch or dinner there). But we DID have a traditional French breakfast each morning with cereal & yoghurts and fresh bread & croissants along with meat & cheese & eggs (no hot items are on offer) served with freshly squeezed juice and coffee/tea/water. This was plenty for us each day before going sightseeing It looks like an attached bar is undergoing some renovations so the hotel will be better when this is completed

Parking can be a problem but it was good weather for the beach in peak season so understandable It would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room for a few drinks (& some medicines) & a kettle to make tea/coffee before breakfast

Perfect see front location meters from the beach and great views of the village. Very cosy room. Great restaurant and the very best staff

Only minor issue but there is no one there on a week day to check in before 1600.

Location on the beach, wonderful friendly owners and their staff who go out of their way to help you. The restaurant is amazing with incredible fish and delicacies! The beds are very comfortable and shower is great. You MUST try the 12 year old Calvados - ask for it!

We took the family room, no. 20, it was quite spacious and comfy. The room was fresh, clean beautifuly decorated and welcoming. We were very happy!

Unfortunately there is no ventilation in the toilet and not enough ventilation in the room in general.

Perfect for seeing the sights of Normandy, friendly and very clean!

Not many dairy free options at breakfast.

After change of bedroom on second of 3 night stay, nothing of issue. Make sure you opt for large room with big bed.

Hotel and restaurant were ideal for a relaxed break en route to Brittany.

Advance advise on check in parking would have been appreciated but not a problem.

A relaxed decoration, really helpful staff, superb food and drink in the restaurant . A place to leave our bikes was appreciated. Fantastic location.

Parking is a slight issue as this is a very busy area , but I was able to park every day .
