Really great location and wonderful parking area for traveling with a car. Cute atmosphere. Pool table and bar in the main building. Friendly staff who stayed a little late just to make sure we checked in.

If you don’t have a car, it is not quite as nice a location but you can still access town or some nearby restaurants. Beds feel a bit small for twin, just a little hard to sleep on if you move a lot in your sleep. Only two power outlets in the room. Trash can was only in the bathroom.

The rooms are warm and well equipped, except for there are no hot drink making facilities provided. The beds comfortable with crisp bedding, very good bathrooms with endless hot water.

Really do need a kettle etc putting in the rooms, one or two of our party found the sliding door locks to be difficult to use and worn.

Breakfast, a serve your- self meal of coffee or tea, cereal, croissants, french bread, yoghurt, fruit salad and more so it was easy to eat too much, but by the third day we had got the measure of it

It was not in the ideal place for those on foot to visit the interesting places in Bayeux

The ability to park my bike directly outside my room was a massive bonus. I used this hotel to to a motorbike tour of the WWII sites in Normandy and for this the hotel was perfectly located. I would recommend this place for anyone doing the same.

The best Hotel for the money. It was cheap, plus, it was really good, the room was brilliant, the breakfast was tasty, the staff and the owner was wonderful. And also, every room was ground floor, brilliant for me.  Overall, highly recommended!.

Nice layout with single storey accommodation, quiet location

No kettle or drink making facilities in the room and no food available in the evenings

Room, en -suite were fine. Layout of site prohibited quiet rooms but that was my fault in not noting before arriving. There were very noisy workmen staying who held drinking session outside room till 2 in the morning. The manager, owner , ? was exceptional. That evening the restaurant was closed but he went to the kitchen and personally prepared a dinner for us and only charged a small amount. We cannot praise him enough.

Brilliant place to stay while back packing with a group of friends. Hosts were friendly and very accommodating.

Considering the price nothing

Great location, only a mile from the centre of Bayeux and not far from the DD beaches. Staff very obliging.
