We stopped for a night en route home to the Spanish side of the Pyrenees. Le Closier is beautiful. Fabulously renovated, every comfort we needed, lovely hosts, clean, comfortable and an excellent breakfast. It's a great base to explore the area from with caves to explore nearby and, according to some French guests we coincided with, good golfing!

Being a B&B, we had to find somewhere to eat in the evening. Not a problem as they recommended a great place just a 10 min drive away but if you're there for a couple of days or more, the options in the area are rather limited.

We had a large, bright and airy room in a very old house beautifully restored . Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and obliging. The room was comfortable even during a heatwave. A delicious English style breakfast was offered and we enjoyed sitting in the shade outdoors in the evenings I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing break in the country.

The small hotel and its owners are delightful! We loved our comfortable and clean room and slept well. The owners are friendly and most enjoyable to talk with about travels and life alike. The old castle ruins next to hotel have beautiful views towards the valley. We got great tip for dinner and had fun with their playful dog, Lennie. A place to stay that does not let you down!

The location was quiet and peaceful, the room lovely, tastefully decorated, well-appointed, and clean.

There was nothing not to like. Reg and Sue were so warm and welcoming, the accommodation was great, and breakfast of baked goods, bread and cheese, was a nice way to start the day.

Lovely converted farmhouse with magnificent views. Large comfortable rooms. Charming hosts with a friendly dog called Lenny. And a great breakfast in the morning. A great base for cycling the mountain passes, even if we didn’t 😉

Great quiet location. Spotless cleand and tidy rooms wery nicely set up for comfortable stay. Really nice hosts and very helpfull with all knowledge theyhqve about the area. Recommend!

Absolutely faultless. Amazing attention to detail. Welcome was second to none. And then there’s Lenny the dog who loves everyone who stays. Especially if they’ll play with his rugby ball.
