Location! A lovely old town and an opportunity to revisit the Auvergne (Volcans). The Maitre'D was EXCELLENT. He was most helpful and able to advise on local wines as required. Being helpful, friendly and understanding and with useful guides as to choices he made the dinner experience for my wife & me.

The children very much enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the breakfast.

Th front of the hotel is looking a little tired.

The meal was lovely and having the pool in the really hot weather was a bonus. The town is lovely even though we didn't have chance to look round properly as we were only there one night. The staff were very helpful.

We arrived after the hotel restaurant had closed. We phoned reception on the way to let them know we would be late. They kept some food warm for us; when we arrived, the owner (?) set a little table for us and served us a delicious 3 course vegetarian meal, chatting good-humouredly all the time. Great customer service! Breakfast was very generous (and delicious). Hotel location is excellent: very close to central La Bourboule.

The room decor is a little dated.

Close to the main centre where the restaurants and bars are. Private parking at the back of the hotel. Had an excellent meal in the restaurant one evening as the weather was horrendous. Lovely reception area.

The room we had (28) was at the very top in the attic. Only a small skylight making the room dark and very hot. No pictures or mention of an attic room on booking.com. Other rooms appeared to have decent windows and views.

Good breakfast, location was fine, not far to walk to other restaurants etc , really nice town with plenty to discover ie a park for little kids and big ones, casino, spar and a few shops. The hotel pool was welcoming after a busy day of walking in the heat although needs a little exterior work on the building. Lovely terrace and outside seating for relaxing. There is a car park near the hotel as well as their own but theirs has a height restriction so we parked elsewhere. We would be happy to return their hopefully in the ski season next time

Kettle in our room did not work well and it would be nice to have little milk cartons for the tea

We asked for a room that was on the parking side, and the team managed to found a room for us despite our late request. Overall, very nice team, polite and efficient.

We had a room on the street side for one night, and it was a little bit noisy. But for one night it was ok.

Breakfast was fair. Dinners were excellent. Offered e house menu for 25euro

Breakfast buffet could be sensibly improved.

Quite a big room for 3 and the swimming pool & jacuzzi are great. There's an elevator in the hotel so it's convenient with the luggage.

You could provide newspapers in the lobby, for instance at the time of serving the breakfast.
