First of all the location is great, right next to the beach, you have the hotel restaurant there and other food options in the area. A few beach bars as well. But at the same time it is quiet enough in the night. Breakfast is ok, pastries could be improved in my opinion. Beatriz was lovely every single day as we stayed there, she cared for us, when we needed breakfast delivered to our room when I was a bit ill.

There was this staff member Agnese that had big attitude for no reason. She was constantly annoyed by our presence and other staff members. She would get into conflicts with other staff members in front of us, when everybody else were super nice and helpful. I don’t understand why is she working there.

Wonderful location beside a great beach and extensive National Park for walks along undeveloped coast and in hills. Elegantly simple room with good shower, kettle and coffee machine and charming tranquil terrace beside Park, nicely screened from neighbours. Exceptional breakfast included, served on shaded terrace with sea view. Excellent restaurant for lunch or dinner. Great welcome and briefing from staff who were courteous, friendly and helpful throughout. Very reasonable rates for this area, this site and this quality.

All perfect for us - who have been visiting Gigaro for years, but first time staying here. People staying for longer periods might find the hanging space limited, but plenty of other storage

Very friendly and accomodating staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The bottle of wine was a nice and refreshing touch in the summer. The room was clean and the outdoor seating pleasant. The location is outstanding. Not only are you a few steps from the beach, but you are at the end of the road bordering woods with a great walking path to other, more remote beaches. Dinner at the restaurant was sublime.

Nothing! Well, except that the room was darker than pictured. But we would gladly stay here again and in the same room.

Breakfast was good, room was good. Shower is perfect. Air conditioner and wifi was working great.

I did not like the beach - it is not clean at all. Maybe, we used to see much cleaner beaches in Mexico ( because we are from USA). I think it is more question to the city and mayor to clean beaches ( all public beaches) so it will be more attractive to the people. Or maybe even collect some reasonable payment - which will be used to keep this beaches clean and nice. At least once a week maintance.

We had a sea view room and it was just beautiful to look out at the sea, the boats, the trees… the room was sparklingly clean, spacious, very comfortable bed, modern facilities, lovely terrace, no noise from adjoining rooms, great air con, fantastic location, superb breakfast and a lovely efficient manager.

Hardly worth mentioning as everything was so good, however, although there was a coffee machine we would have liked a kettle to for our morning cuppa. A very English problem!

Everything was great: location, room, staff and food. The hotel is located near the beach and the Port-Cros National Park. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable bed. Quiet during the night. Breakfast aas good and fresh.

The breakfast was delicious. We loved the selection of bread and fruits and it was especially nice to have the ham and cream cheese too. The highlight of the breakfast thought was Beatrice our server. She was delightful. So helpful, kind and chatty and really attentive and great service.

Very nice rooms, with a coffee machine and a selection of teas. Breakfast at the restaurant was amazing, and the view was incredible. The staff was very friendly and were happy to give recommendations on what to do locally.

Location is perfect, could not have been closer to the beach. Room practical and well equipped. Staff very helpful. Restaurant was excellent.

Nothing worth commenting

The restaurant for The lodges at Gigaro is outstanding with view, food and service. I had two meals there in less than 24 hours. The location to walk along the beach is ideal.
