The location is fantastic. The facilities are excellent. The chef and food not as good as it used to be due to a change in approach. Our room had some real problems despite being lovely.

The sewer smell in the toilet room. The fact that the shower controls were not working properly. The A/C fan only would not work if the doors were open. No operating instructions for the odd but lovely espresso machine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lily of the Valley. - Our room was stunning, definitely worth asking for a room that does not overlook the Shape Club pool. Instead we had a lovely view of the surrounding nature reserve. Everything designed impeccably to a high spec. Stunning marble bathroom and excellent power shower. - Shared facilities also excellent. Shape club pool, spa and gym all more than what you need for your stay. We also enjoyed the group classes (yoga, beach workout and Paddleboarding). Low attendance for all so worth enquiring before booking a solo class. - Contrary to many reviews, staff were all very pleasant. Unfortunately no name tags so we can’t call out anyone specifically for recognition. However, we experienced absolutely delightful service at breakfast, by the pool, in the spa, during classes and as part of the shuttle service. The concierge was also ace! - Food quality and quantity also very good. Expensive but in line with market (hotel and surrounding restaurants in the South of France) - Deep tissue massage was physio standard. Truly great. Overall an amazing summer stay.

Few minor tweaks to get to a 10… - Name badges to thank and recognise staff - Remove charging for certain breakfast dishes i.e. smoked salmon, pancakes, porridge. The base breakfast included is good but I’ve never come across a charge before for standard five star items. When everyone is paying €800+ per night, paying extra for oats is daft. - Heated towel rail in bathroom would be lovely and make a winter stay more appealing

No words to describe this place, it's just magical - everything is perfect, and the entire staff got everything covered up to the smallest detail. TOP TOP TOP!!!

Two very tiny things: 1. at the restaurant "La Brigantine" (at the beach) they serve very nice and chilled Moretti draught beer, but only one small glass size available (about 25cl) - a pint would be nice as an alternative. 2. The door in the shower was not completely leakproof, so the floor near the shower got a bit wet.

Everything was beautiful and the food was GREAT. Be aware the location is out in country so once you are there, you will probably be staying there for meals, etc. unless you use their transport. Location was stunning and very relaxing.

Mosquitos/ insects (part of being in the country) but the hotel provides plug-ins that you can use for mosquitos.

Beautiful hotel up on a hill overlooking the sea. The breakfast was great. The shuttle to the beach was convenient. The rooms are small but lovely.

Lot of people exercising in the common areas by the pool, so if you are trying to relax you hear jump roping or the staff coaching the participants.

The most incredible hotel - cannot fault our stay here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and staff are so friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The rooms are beautiful, facilities are great and we had delicious meals at each of the restaurants. This is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, absolutely worth the money and I can’t wait to come back.

I think If we pay such a high price for a hotel we would not mind if it is more with 100 euro per a day, but I dont want to habe extra costs at breakfast I dont want to pay for subeds it must be a fullservice at this high end position

Rooms are nicely styled but are not at all pratical. Missing completely any place for putting down things.

Can not fault the hotel. Stunning location, beautiful hotel & the staff were so lovely, welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay incredible
