Lovely building. We had a room situated on 2nd floor which was spacious. Large comfortable bed and lovely shower room.

Had a feeling that a lot of the waiting staff were being trained. Went down for dinner....no staff around as, I presume, the manager said she had a staff meeting due to a function happening that evening! Sat in the foyer for a while until the receptionist appeared and took us to our table in the restaurant. Just confusing. Also, went we checked in the receptionist stated we needed to pay in cash! Luckily we had sufficient, but I have never paid cash for any hotel booked via booking.com before. We were able to pay for our meal by credit card!! Meal was good, but staff were confused.

Large very clean room on 2nd floor. Very welcoming staff and plenty of free private parking. Very good meal, particularly the starter and the dessert (tarte tatin!) Breakfast had many and various options, ham, cheese, croissants cake, bacon and egg, cereals, yoghurt, etc. All very fresh and flavoursome. Also wide variety of hot drinks. This is the second time we have stayed here en route to north and will stay again.

The toilet was cramped otherwise everything was to our liking.

This is the second time we stayed here, albeit in a smaller room but nonetheless we were very pleased with the facilities. We ate dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it even though the food had been pre- prepared by the resident chef. The food was tasty and the portions just right. The tarte tatin was superb. All of the alcohol served matched and complemented the dishes. Service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and its surroundings are delightful and we only wished that we had had more time to explore Lamotte Beuvron itself. The hotel is very clean. We will return.

We found that the helpfulness of the staff was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was evident that they worked as a well coordinated team They managed to find us a table for dinner at an earlier time. Dinner was delicious and the Gin and tonic was expertly made. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We have now been here 3 times and are returning again.

The location was very easily accessible and the town had a supermarket and a range of places to eat which was great. The rooms were very clean and very comfy. The building itself is lovely. The air conditioning was very effective.

The day we were there they had issues in the kitchen and only offered cold food. This wasn't going to be suitable (particularly for my child!) so we ate out. We then returned for a drink but they seemed confused about where we could sit as they were basically set up for food. Eventually we were located inside but service was slow.

We loved the friendly reception, the food (evening meal and breakfast), the choice of drinks, the location with regards the motorway (less than 5km away) making it a great stop-off for an onward journey, and the tarte tatin of course....

The bed comfort was astonishing The bathroom is well conceived The good acoustics, smooth texture of the walls

The staff, especially at front desk was not trained to run a hotel, neither to have any kind of communication with customers. A no-go flag for the future, which is really a shame for such a nice place.

Nice classic and modern style hotel where all staff is very helpfull. We enjoyed diner in the restaurant with well trained staff. They where very nice to our dog. The spa was also good.

It was a very good location in a beautiful town The room was spacious and well equipped. The evening meal was good as was the breakfast

I didn’t like climbing 40 steps up to my room and there was a nasty drain smell in the room. I traced it to a dried out shower waste trap which must of dried out and was easily rectified.

Very close to motorway so excellent for a stay on way to Spain

The shower would have been excellent but it was broken down couldn’t use properly
