This is a fantastic location overlooking the harbour. There are lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. It is only less than 10 minutes walk to the magnificent beach of Sable d'olonne where you can walk for miles. As the room is over a restaurant and in the heart of the eating area, it is a bit noisy for a while if your window is open. However, this is the only negative thing I would have to say. Very friendly and helpful staff and a nice breakfast.

Booked a room with a view of the port which I was pleased with. Room was lovely and seemed to be newly decorated. Have stayed at this hotel several times and this was the best room I have had. Some rooms had been a bit tired. Location is great on the port with bars and restaurants just outside. We will stay here again.

The only problem we had was the parking. When we arrived the road around the port was closed so we couldn't drop off the luggage. Apparently there is a code to allow cars through but we didn't have it. We had to park a long way from the hotel and carry the luggage to the hotel over a few days. Parking can be an issue in the town but this was a shame. Leaving the hotel wasn't so difficult as the road was open. This wouldn't put us off going back.

We have stayed here several times before, love the location. We like a room with a view of the port, also this seemed to be a larger room which was lovely. Staff are very helpful. Hotel is amongst the restaurants on the port which is great. Parking in the town can be difficult but luckily we know where to park. We will definitely stay here again.

Location perfect as we wanted to be at the harbour beside restaurants. Parking was handy in local underground car park as it is a difficult area to find parking in. Classic French breakfast in small breakfast room at rear of property was €8 each. We ate at their restaurant and it was excellent! Busy place but staff superb. Great value for our one night stay in a great location.

I would book a room not beside the lift next time. Not a major problem.

The room was very nice. well presented and clean. Fabulous view overlooking the port. The location could not have been better. The staff at the hotel very welcoming and friendly.

The location is great right on the port, we have stayed here before and this is just what we wanted. It can be a little noisy but it is right by the restaurants.

Bathroom needed updating but overall we were very happy.

Obviously Friday nights seems to be party night down the street which went on until 2am, very loud!!

Breakfast was superb with excellent service. The hotel staff were all welcoming and accommodating, especially the owner and the girl who served breakfast.

There was nothing I didn'tlike, it was all first class.

Interesting views over the port and proximity to the beach.

New (to us) bar next door was very noisy up till 02:00.
