The place is in a natural setting, with horses being boarded in nearby fields, and alpacas able to be visited and fed. Excellent breakfast, with fresh bread, croissants, juice, sausage, cheeses, yoghurt. The ground floor apartment was sizable, with ample, well-stocked kitchen, plus a couch, table and chairs. Outdoor seating, too, which was cool in the afternoon. The fan provided was a help during the heat wave. Close to good restaurants, gas stations and groceries. Several lovely villages a short drive away. Lyon is a 40 minute drive.

We had a ground floor studio which is ideal for people with mobility issues, with flat access and a wet room. We did not see the first floor apartment, but access did not look easy unless you are fully mobile.

Minor quibble! It would have been nice to have had English tea bags (we had our own) and orange juice at breakfast.

Beautiful location. Lovely host. Accommodating of dietary needs.

The shower in our bedroom was broken, so we would have had to hold it to shower ourselves but apart from that it was great.

The host is super nice, helpful and reactive. The rooms are clean, beautiful and practical. The Domaine is amazing with horses and alpacas.
