Thank you to Hôtel Terminus. The communication with this hotel was excellent! I received an email immediately after booking in English confirming my reservation which gave me specific instructions on check in time and how to reach someone at the hotel if needed. If we were to be late it would not be a problem as they would provide instructions on how to proceed. They also answered a question I had sent when booking very promptly. I spoke to a receptionist who spoke English that was of great assistance. It was so refreshing to have such great communication with the Hotel Terminus. I would highly recommended Hotel Terminus.

Perfect night stop over on the way back from the Alps. Large, spacious, clean hotel room with two very comfortable double beds and large bathroom with amazing shower. Comfortable room temperature, with large window in our room and radiators to control temperature. So great to be in a hotel room without any stuffiness. Great location and we were able to park on the road outside when we arrived about 8pm. A variety of eateries in walking distance for food - the takeaway opposite did us a lovely fresh veggie wrap!

A great hotel. It’s old and authentic but well renovated and the beds are very comfortable. It’s always my first choice when I come to Lons le saunier. It’s run independently which is nice given that many hotels are chains. It’s easy to park and the station is right opposite so transport either way is easy. It’s quiet and cosy. And the staff are really wonderful: friendly and helpful. It’s very central: five minutes walk from the centre (plenty of restaurants and bars). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly receptionist. The room was big and clean with a separate bathroom and separate w.c. The hotel is opposite the train station and 5 minutes walk to the centre of town with restaurants and bars. Once you're away from the grotty stairs, the hotel is nice inside. I found parking very near the hotel for free - although there were very few places available.

The car park is too expensive at €9 when free places are available (though scarce). The lino on the stairs is very worn out and needs replacing - it gives a poor impression when entering the hotel. I paid €52 which is too expensive in my opinion.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had a good one night stay.

The lady at the reception was abrupt with us on arrival questioning if we had booked the parking place where we had just parked our car. We had actually booked the parking and I received a message from the hotel to confirm this. But she kept insisting that it is not on her computer and she booked us a parking space and allocated us a room. The room was well equipped and the bed was comfortable, I found the ventilation was poor and we could not open the window. There is a fan that we could use should we need to; on a very hot day I can imagine this room would be uncomfortable. All in all it was a good stay shame about the way we were received and the ventilation in the room.

We were happy with the accommodation which had a foyer, separate WC, separate Bathroom. The star rating was 2 but there was some charm about the property, together with welcoming staff and a good value breakfast as per their promise.

The lift could be cantankerous; but easy to manager. Overall property delivered what was advertised.

Although its only a 2-star and the building does not look appealing. I can say that we had a comfortable stay. The beds are comfy. I slept well. The city center is withing walking distance. For passing thru or overnight stay, I will recommend this place.

Room renovated, we were travelling with a big dog, so it was our main priority. Parking is closed, and you can't leave before 7am since there is no staff at night to open the gates. Wasn't a problem for us, but if someone needs to leave earlier probably better park in the street.

Difficult to answer, as it looked like the hotel was under renovation. Good room, comfortable bed, modern bathroom. Very good pizza at the pizzaria in the hotel.

Bell didn’t work for the gate to parking; the entry from parking smelled mouldy, the paint was peeling.

Stopped here on our way to Chamonix as we messed up arrival dates .....it is what it says on the box.. great one night stay a bit dated but who cares... not buying just stopping over Super clean,super super comfy beds, safe parking, delicious breakfast I am writing this review watching Mountblanc off my top floor 2 bed penthouse apartment in Chamonix ... still can't fault our stay there

....struggled to find a place to eat.. Sunday 21:00 .
