My family and I spent three nights at Le 49. The region around Domblans was unknown to us and we were surprised how beautiful it was and how much it had to offer. The rooms at Le 49 are extremely spacious, clean, modern and very nice. The park belonging to the property was very big and well kept and we really enjoyed the pool. Our host Oliver made our stay perfect. He was very attentive and caring, making us feel very welcome. We can only recommend Domblans and Le 49 and if you stay there be sure to try the host’s homemade almond cake for breakfast.

We had a truly delightful stay at Le 49 Côté Parc & Spa. The atmosphere was peaceful and charming, with beautifully designed rooms that combined comfort and elegance. The garden and spa area were especially relaxing — a perfect escape after a day of travel. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh and high-quality ingredients served in a lovely setting. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil and refined experience, and I would love to come back!

The family suite was beautiful. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. Breakfast was superb – with freshly-made pancakes, French toast and locally-produced jams. And the sauna and heated outdoor pool were ideal amenities after a long drive from the coast. Oliver couldn't have been a more hospitable and gracious host. He recommended a fabulous restaurant and reserved a table for us on request. On the morning of our departure, he gave us many local insights and recommended we visit Baume-les-Messieurs before we departed the area. Glad we followed his advice. That's a particularly enchanting little town.

While the building was a classic country style, the bedroom was modern, light, and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had with freshly made brioche pain perdu (French toast), local Jura cheeses, baked goods, fruit, and more. The host, Olivier, is very welcoming, is a great cook, and his English is very good. Le49 is a great location to visit and experience the lovely Jura countryside.

Check in is at 4:30. They let us stay by the pool which was good, however this is no form of food or drinks available. So be prepared. Maybe an honesty fridge with some cold drinks or something would be good. Great stay all round though.

This property is a delight! The location is great - a short drive from many major sights of the Jura (Chateau Chalon, Baume les Messieurs, the Herrisson waterfalls and more). Our room was spacious, airy, full of light, with a great view of the park. Excellent breakfast served indoors or outside near the pool. And best of all - the gracious, friendly and helpful host!

This is a beautiful property run by a lovely couple. The rooms are very large, well appointed and clean. The bathrooms are deluxe. The breakfast is expansive and wonderful and the service is attentive. The grounds are fantastic and although you'll probably stay in Domblans because its close to Chateau Chalon, the town of Domblans itself is also very nice. We can't wait to come back.

The decor, the rooms, the setting, the location and most definitely the food. We had a truly exceptional time. The hot tub was especially good.

I can’t fault it.

Beautiful location with modern, quality facilities and very tastefully decorated. A lovely pool, large garden and very comfortable room. A delicious French breakfast efficiently served on the terrace with locally sourced cheese and ham, and home made preserves, brioche and cake. Very charming and friendly owners running a family business and keen to help with advice on areas to visit and restaurants to experience.

A small fridge in room would be helpful for summer travellers however there was a useful communal one.

Clean, wonderful location very central to visiting the area. Exceptional hosts and the hotel was very comfortable and well appointed.
