We were on route from Spain to the UK and needed to find somewhere to sleep in the mountain area. This beautiful b&b is in the perfect location for our journey. Our hosts Robert and Ellen are the most welcoming people you could ever imagine in the universe, together with their beautiful friendly gentle pet dog Bear! They have such great taste to decorate their house - our room and bathroom are both spot on. We were actually pleasantly surprised about the room because it actually has the luxurious details that their online photos did not show. So our room actually exceeded our expectation! The bed is so comfortable! The room was pitch black when the lights are turned off, it's so quiet and peaceful in the mountain, we had slept like babies throughout the night without even having to close the curtains! Our lovely hosts prepared us such gorgeous breakfast in the morning, again, with some fantastic details to show that they really care about their service quality. We had a wonderful time in their sunny garden appreciating the paradise scene and super sweet fresh air. Plenty of space for parking, which is also important to us. There are a lot of natural activities for people to do such as hiking, mountain biking and skiing, etc.. If one needs to retreat from city life, this is your perfect place to hermit. We highly recommend Robert and Ellen and this b&b to any travelers.

The breakfast was amazing and the evening meal was out of this world, Ellen is an exceptional chief I don't know how she does it, we arrived with a puncture and Robert was on the case straight away and took us to the garage the next day to be sorted, the views where unbelievable and constantly changing, Great walks is this area. Lovely couple and of course their gorgeous St Bernard bear, we are planning to return next year, can't wait to see them again, If you are in this area don't hesitate to book

There is nothing that could have been better

Staying in La Maison du Chevalier is a must if you are nearby. The house is located in a fantastic place and every little detail has been taken care of. Ellen and Robert are so warm people, making your stay even better. They are happy to help with any of your needs and they are amazing cookers. So I would recommend if you stay at their place request dinner, good food, and better company. I was there for a business trip to Euroapi (the best place to stay if you go there) and I would like to stay again for holidays.

Ellen, Robert and Bear are amazing hosts! During my trip to EuroAPI, I was fortunate to stay at their guest house and it was a real treat. The fresh breakfast was amazing. The dinner cooked by both of them were also very tasty. I really enjoyed their company and would recommend to anyone to stay at their guest house.

nice house in a green surrounding, relaxing and welcoming. the hosts are very nice, we had a great time even if the weather was bad and we couldn't enjoy the swimming pool, we'll be back, perfect place for an hiking holliday or just relax

Room needs a fan for ventilation and to cool it at night. Opening the window let’s bugs in so a screen would be helpful

Pretty location on the side of a wooded hill overlooking the valley. Good road links to local larger towns.
