Stylish and unique property, relaxed and welcoming vibe with good service, owned by one of the most prestigious oyster farming families in the region. Great 25-metre pool which is open all day. Slightly remote location is very pleasant but there is not a huge amount to see near to the property if you don't have a car. However, they do offer a few complimentary bikes (which are showing their age somewhat...) so we could explore nearby towns (Marseillan is 25-30 minutes cycle ride away) and also visit the rustic, lagoon-front oyster-shack style restaurant called St Barth, which is owned by the same family, just 10 minutes cycle ride away. Decent restaurant with nice terrace in the grounds and good selection of wines by the glass. Our 'Lodge Cabanier' room was excellent - larger, brighter and generally nicer than they appear in the website photos - and very well equipped.

No major dislikes but a few areas that could be improved. Bikes showing their age and could do with being replaced. Breakfast selection is slightly limited with a bit too much focus on sweet items, such as cakes etc, for our liking; eggs can be cooked to order but breakfast options could do with a wider selection of healthier, savoury options such as avocado etc. Also be aware that the spa books up well in advance, don't wait til you get there to try and book treatments.

We appreciated the modern ecological architecture and the tasteful interior design of the whole place. We loved the lush and well kept gardens and vegetation even on the balconies! We loved the SPA and the pool with its beautiful surroundings!

We expected a mediterranen gourmet cuisine including their organic garden produce. We would have liked to find a larger variety of their garden on the menu.

It was very beautiful and relaxing. Staff were very helpful. The spa was lovely and pool very nice. The pictures online do not even come close to how beautiful it actually is. I would come back again for a longer stay. It's worth every penny. Loved it!

Weather was cooler than expected but sun did come out to enjoy the pool.

Staff were hit and miss . No order to arrivals . No specific reception. We were left to wander , feeling uncomfortable & out of place . No eye contact or expected welcome for new arrivals . ( very odd) whilst in what we later discovered to be the reception area we telephoned to ask where we needed to check in , and still waited for 15mins for to connect with anyone .

The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We loved the location, so peaceful but only a short walk, ride, drive to numerous restaurants. The on-site restaurant was also fabulous if you choose to dine in. Our room was spacious and comfortable

Breakfast was good but only found out on the last morning that you could have eggs.

The hotel restaurant had a very limited, top of the range menu. Luckily the same ownership has a fab, relaxed seafood brasserie right on the lagoon 5 minutes drive away, which we loved.

Beautifully appointed hotel with first class restaurant and spa. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and peaceful.
