We stayed at this charming, locally run villa hotel for 2 nights and had really nice experience. It’s run by a lovely couple who clearly put care into every detail. The place is tucked away among vineyards, is decorated in a unique personal style that reflects the character of the hosts, definitely not your cookiecutter hotel decor. Outside, the property is surrounded by many plants. With only a few rooms, the villa stays quiet and restful. Our room was very wpacious, with an open plan ensuite of both a bath and shower. The toilet was located just outside the room in the hallway, but it was for our private use. Slightly inconvenient but not a big deal. We had dinner on our first night; a generous 3-course, home cooked meal that was both delicious and great value. Breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade yoghurt and jams. It felt personal and thoughtful. There’s a small pool and private parking. Access by car is easy. The hosts are friendly, can converse in several languages and made us feel very welcome in their home. Say hi to Mao.

A beautiful house seated just in the heart of Provence. The view of our room is just spectacular. Françoise and Damian are very helpful. They recommend restaurants with great food quality. And we just love the puppy Mao so much as he is really cute and welcoming^^ The continental breakfast is nice. We love the jam and coffee and Françoise made us eggs. Don’t miss the sunrise in this area, it’s sooooo beautiful. Definitely will recommend this place to everyone.

Pillows were the square european type which are rarely comfortable, and large king bed was well-worn (sunken down where you lay) - however was firm which was good

Great place to relax and disconnect. The location was perfect, very close to several beautiful towns. Very comfortable bedroom. Very kind and pleasent hosts, always available and open with suggestions on what to see and what to do. I recommend this stay 100%

Lovely property with great people , we have been looked after , breakfast is amazing , dinner was delicious, beds are really comfortable. The place is cosy , quiet and friendly and hosts will do everything to make you feel welcome

We spent four nights at la MaiZon and this was the perfect place from which to explore the beautiful Provence countryside! The location was exactly what we were looking for, with villages such as Gordes and Rousillon just a 30 minute drive away. The house itself was a gorgeous traditional French home with each room decorated very fashionably. The view from our room onto the surrounding vineyard was stunning. The gardens of the house were a quiet and relaxing place to spend a sunny day and there was a lovely pool in which to cool off. Françoise and Vlada could not have been more helpful and welcoming, giving us lots of local recommendations including wine tasting and helping us arrange dinner in the nearby village. The breakfast each morning was delicious and even included homemade yoghurt which was a lovely touch. We can't wait to come back!

Lovely large room, friendly welcome, excellent breakfasts on shady terrace, relaxing locations in the garden, handy for Ventoux wine region, ask for recommendations of nearby and excellent co-operatives.

Nothing to dislike - perfect for us

Amazing room with great garden views. The facilities are pretty new and well-designed. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had great time having each breakfast in the beautiful garden.

Everything was great, if I must say, it was challenging to find it, and I guess it’s not their fault it’s more of gps issue.

Francoise is an amazing host. The breakfast is really good, there’s cereals, yoghurt, patisserie and then you can order eggs also. The rooms are spacious, nicely designed with lots of quirky antique touches. There is a nice pool area and garden with loungers.
