A basic budget hotel but good value for money. Everything was spotlessly clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, not much English spoken, that wasn't a problem for us. We ate in the restaurant 2 nights during our stay. The food was delicious, well served and well presented. Overall a very pleasant stay

For us, the only downside was the car park. Although it is a private car park for hotel guests it is a good 10 mins walk away and we didn't feel it was very secure. Our ensuite bathroom was tiny, it was exceptionally clean but very difficult to access and use.

My son and I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel to be able to cycle in the environment. We booked the hotel late on the date of arrival which was actually the 13th of July on which the village already celebrated their national holiday a day early. We arrived late and called the manager who left the festivities to hand us the key of our room. We had a great stay on a nice room on the 4th floor (with elevator) with two seperate beds. The room fitted our needs and was big enough to even have our bicycles in the room for the first night. The hotel has a garage around the corner where you can savely store bicycles and motorbikes. We enjoyed the basic but nice breakfast at an extra charge of 10 Euro per person. We did not enjoy the pool area nor the dinner but they both looked excellent.

Great location. It felt I had made the right choice of the places around. The hotel has character and a great pool and very nice staff. Good air conditioning. Straightforward and simple. Decent WiFi

The evening meal that I chose to have in the restaurant wasn’t quite as good as expected. It lacked atmosphere but was busy so perhaps I was just a bit too early and unlucky on that occasion. Perhaps needed a more senior member of staff to add experience to the service also The breakfast perhaps needs a little background music

The hotel staff were exceptional from the point of our arrival to our departure. They were so helpful in allowing us to store our bicycles in their garage. The rooms were perfect (beautifully clean) with a great view overlooking the river. Children greatly enjoyed the excellent pool. Couldn't ask for more.

A couple of small bottles of water in room. In terms of the pool - the area around it was great, clearly recently done but it seemed the garden / lawn area hadn't quite been brought up the the same standard. Seemed to just need a little care and attention in places to make it more of a relaxing space.

A very enthusiastic welcome from the owner. Our room had recently been renovated and was very well designed with plenty of storage space. Excellent bedding and towels, Our room was airy with a great view of the stream running through the town. We had been a little concerned that we would be disturbed by the room's proximity to the lift but we didn't hear a thing from outside our room on our two night stay. We had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant and regretted not doing so on our second night there; the hotel restaurant is outstanding. We were able to park our motorbike in the hotel garage/storeroom which was very handy. We loved our stay here and the village had everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend!

Everything was perfect for us. We regret not eating in the hotel on the second night; choosing to eat in one of the other restaurants in the town instead which was a mistake and resulted in illness the following day.....

Meyrueis is an excellent village from which to visit the area. The restaurant downstairs serves great food. The staff is absolutely amazing. The pool is nice and there's plenty of room to sit/lie down.

The room was very small, but we did know this in advance.

Great central hotel, access to a pool, nice staff, unusual restaurant. All great. I will come again.

Lovely hotel. Excellent location for touring the gorges. Breakfast was lovely. We ate once in the hotel and it was very good. Staff v helpful. Garage for motorbike very good.

Everything was excellent; room, meals, staff, location. Very friendly and family orientated hotel in a superb location. We will return!

the hotel allowed to put the motorbike in the garage. room was clean and enough space for us. pool is new and just across the road from the hotel. we already had plans for evening so didn’t eat here but it was very busy in the restaurant.
