Charming lady on reception who put our ice blocks in the freezer and told us we could leave milk in the communal fridge. The salon is pleasant and comfortable. Good location to look around the village - which doesn’t take long, although there are lovely, signposted walks into the hills and woods higher up. The room had a kettle and we booked one with a nice outside terrace/balcony. .

This is just our preference and I’m sure others probably love this style of decor - after all, it is on the top fringes of Provence! But we really found the bathroom rather grim with its dull lighting, terracotta orange tiles all around the shower, but worst of all, the walk-in shower was not in any way separated from the toilet so it got soaked each time we used the shower. One glass partition would have sorted it. This and the tiles made the entire room feel damp all the time. It didn’t make for a comfortable night. But that is purely our opinion and taste.

Everything was amazing, rooms were even nicer than pictured and looked out onto village. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They may have expected us to have breakfast though we hadn’t reserved it and didn’t have any, so I’d like to apologise for the confusion. We found no other place open for breakfast, incidentally, so the hotel could be a good idea

Nothing, can’t wait to return

Mirmande is a beautiful village and the Hotel de Mirmande in a perfect location. Parking was easy and very close by. The room was newly decorated and very large. Facilities were excellent (including an enormous fan) and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. She remembered that we had requested a booking at their sister restaurant (which was excellent) and had it all organised. Breakfast was served in the lovely courtyard out the back and definitely worth the additional expenditure.

My only comment would be that most visitors to a village such as Mirmande are there to soak up the history of the place, but the hotel's decor is very modern and didn't really seem to be in keeping with the historic building or the surrounds. Our other issue was the usual one of not being able to hook up the shower head - we really don't understand how the French can shower while using one hand to constantly hold the shower head!

Very well located in this lovely small town. Big room, two large windows which unfortunately due to hot sun, best left closed with shutters. Very comfortable very large bed with good quality sheets. Restaurant was closed but we booked another close by called Margot which was excellent. We didn’t have breakfast. Good spot to store bikes. Reception was helpful and friendly.

Usual on this trip, no air conditioning so windows need to be closed and when opened let in mosquitoes. So many places would benefit from fly screens if air con not present. WiFi was poor in room. Tea and coffee making facilities just a kettle, no milk, no small fridge in room. The carpet is hessian and like walking on sharp stones!

Good location near all restaurants and the hotel provided private parking. The manageress was absolutely wonderful offering to book evening meals for us realising that it made it so much easier for us given we didn’t speak French. Breakfast in the courtyard was excellent.

The room and bathroom was a bit stuffy but we realise this is due to the building being old and not being allowed air conditioning.

The location was great and the building was beautiful. Our room was huge and very well appointed, with an excellent view. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Mirmande was a delight. A big public parking area was a few metres away.

Check in started at 5pm sharp. The hotel was not staffed before that, ie in the afternoon - nor during the night. That was ok for us, but if you want earlier access or someone on the premises in case of emergency, maybe it’s not for you.

This hotel is in a great location just at the base of the hill in Mirmande and an excellent restuarant nearby. The rooms were spacious, nicely furnished and very clean. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night on the way through, but would definitely go back to explore and would book this hotel again.

Wonderful location in a beautiful medieval town. So much to appreciate and visit. Great local restaurants.

Check in is only from 5pm so time to walk around the town to kill the time.

In a fabulous hillside village. Beautiful old building. Very comfortable room. Welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Because their restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening, they booked us into the Patine nearby. Which was very very good indeed and a lovely atmosphere.

Nothing at all.
