The hosts were lovely. On arrival one of our hosts was French speaking only and the next morning our other host spoke English. Language wasn't a barrier though, as the welcome was warm and we were invited to walk around the fields and meet the horses and foals. They are clearly developing the site, which is really pretty, and its situated in a beautiful and peaceful location just outside of the town. We were able to nip into town (5 mins) to get a lovely meal, and found the town welcoming and picturesque too. The accommodation was clean and well presented and the breakfast good and adequate for all our needs.

There was a table and chairs downstairs, but it would have been nice to have some softer chairs to relax in for the evening after we returned from dinner rather than only having the table to sit at.

Really fun to be on a horse farm -- beautiful horses, friendly dogs, and a little donkey in the back yard! The hosts were very friendly.

The rooms were a little bit stuffy -- seemed to get better after we had the windows open for a while.

Not a lot. However, the young woman who met us was pleasant and polite

Misleading representation of place, facilities, and room. Stale croissants for the morning breakfast. Lack of ensuite facilities. We shall not be staying there again...

The bed was comfortable in a very large bedroom. Breakfast was left in the fridge and on the table for us on arrival for eating the following day. There was a small kitchen area to eat in.

The dog was left in the adjacent property by the owner and barked on and off until 02.30 the following morning. There was no personal contact except by written message and text message though we did not leave until about 0900. The large shower unit was so complicated to use, and in a confined space, that over time it has been loosened from the wall by occupiers. There is quite a high step up into the shower. Phone reception was poor at the property and I received no answer from the landlady.
