This was truly one of the most memorable parts of our trip through France. Tucked away in a serene and picturesque village, the property offered everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A standout moment was the exceptional barbecue that David prepared for us — a gourmet experience that exceeded all expectations. It must be booked in advance, but it’s absolutely worth it. The quality, flavors, and presentation were on par with fine dining. The following morning, we were treated to a delightful, home-crafted French breakfast featuring fresh, local ingredients and a lovely personal touch. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing stay in France!

This charming accommodation, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by our host, who was both welcoming and professional, setting the tone for a delightful stay. The setting of the property is absolutely picturesque,. The attention to detail in the decor and the well-maintained grounds made it all the more special. Breakfast was an absolute highlight of our stay – it was, hands down, the best we had during our travels in France. The selection of homemade products was impressive and added a personal touch that we greatly appreciated. One of the most memorable experiences was the BBQ dinner, which is simply unmissable. The food was exceptional, cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It felt like a true culinary celebration, and we enjoyed every moment of it.

It is a charming property with a character. It offered us all we were searching for, and more. A very quiet location, access to garden for our puppy to play in, comfortable sleep and absolutely delicious breakfast that was very innovative and different than any other breaky one can get anywhere else. Fresh smoothie, home-made yogurt, briosch and fresch crepes! Thus property is dog and artist friendly☺️

This was a delightful find for our overnight stop ,ideal for anyone who appreciates rural living . The owner David left his Paris life over a decade ago with his partner and now keeps chickens , a couple of well behaved cocker spaniels, and grows his own fruit and vegetables whilst running this small b& B. The big bonus for us was that we were able to experience one of his evening meals in the summer house with 2 friendly and interesting guests who were on a cycling holiday. You will see from other reviews what a treat this can be, but understandably not always available. Thankyou so much David that you were able to include this for us.

Everything was great, you will be staying in an old renovated farm decorated with taste with all the amenities (fridge, hair dryer, wifi). The place is very peaceful and our host was very caring. David is an amazing host and an excellent cook, he will give you the most special dinning experience in the cabin in the garden. Breakfast are a delight to start your day. We can only highly recommend this place to stay!

Lovely little apartment. Great location near the forest. Superb and very generous evening barbecue cooked for us in the hut. Attentive host.

Pillow was very hard. No kettle in the room. As others have said, staircase to first floor bedroom is a little precarious.

This has been of the greatest stopovers of my life. Such a charming place where you’re fully taken care of. My partner and I had dinner and we’re both surprised by the quality and by the atmosphere of enjoying our dinner prepared live in the cabin. A stay we will not soon forget.

The location is ideal for travelling around the Loire as well as as being a perfect stop when driving further south or on your return journey north. We had the table d'hote option as we were tired when we arrived. This was superb - excellent food and a selection of good wines and local beers on offer. Also a great breakfast with fresh bread, very good coffee, freshly made smoothies and pancakes. We take our dog and he is made to feel very welcome. Lots of dog walking opportunities in area.We have stayed on three seperate occasions and will go again.

Quietness, nice garden, good breakfast

We asked if it would be possible to have dinner (this possibility was one of the reasons to book this stay: after a long drive no need to search for a restaurant). One day later we received positive confirmation of that from the owner. Upon arrival the owner first said that he hadn’t received the request and, when I showed him the response of the day later, he said that that was an automated response. I’ll leave it at that…

Quiet place, very nice room and very nice host (David). I stayed only one night so I can't say more, but it was really lovely.

It's hard to have roaming and so you must use their wi-fi, that unfortunately in my room wasn't very good, I hope David will improve it someway
