Our breakfast was fantastic. We loved our bowl of mixed fresh fruit plus home made products - jams, freshly baked brioche and apple juice, to accompany the usual baguette and coffee. We had a great chat with our host and his friend. This gave me a good opportunity to practise my French which I really appreciated. The whole building has been very tastefully renovated, while keeping the charm of the old French design. Communal sitting areas, plus access to tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch. Our host was helpful with information about restaurants and places of interest to visit. If ever going this way, this place is a great place to stay, just near the chateau.

Everything was wonderful.

It was so charming, comfortable and spacious, with all of the renovations being done beautifully by the owners. Breakfast was fresh homemade brioche, homemade jams and apple juice. We arrived late on a Sunday evening in a cycling tour with no dinner arrangements. Our hosts phoned their friends restaurant which was fully booked and got us a reservation. They even drove us to the restaurant, where the food was superb.

The property was excellent, everything was finished to a very high standard. Our host very welcoming and was able to accommodate us even though we had arrived before our specified time. I hadn't realised it was shared accommodation but even so our stay was lovely. Breakfast prepared for us was exceptional. We would definitely consider returning to stay.

The rooms are conveniently located near the castle of Nogent-le-Rotrou, in a quiet historic neighbourhood, somewhat uphill of the city centre. We arrived by bike and were immediately welcomed with the question if we wanted our clothes to be washed - speaking of a bikefriendly accommodation! ;-) The recently renovated rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is abundant with mainly fresh, local and homemade products, incl. freshly-baked bread, juices and jams.

Anthony was very welcoming and helpful. He offered us advice about the local area and on places to see during our cycle tour. He was kind in letting us practise our fragile French and gave us encouragement. The house is beautifully designed and the bedroom, lounge, and kitchen are exceptionally pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was really lovely too. We felt that we would like to live there!

No complaints at all!

Lovely beautifully designed and decorated cottage, wonderfully outfitted and completely comfortable. We felt pampered, well fed (outstanding breakfast) and totally rested for another day of cycling. This has been our favorite accommodation since our arrival in France. We were so thrilled to have found the perfect accommodation along the Veloscenic route.

Superb B&B, beautifully renovated house - chic, charming and functional. Excellent location for walking into Nogent le Rotrou. Warm welcome and great breakfast. Highly recommended!

We are cycle touring and also offered to do laundry! Also helped make evening dinner reservation that was excellent. Thank you.

Exceptional continental breakfast.

Bedroom a bit soulless. No table one side of the bed. Didn’t like the glass door to the bathroom.

The property owners were most welcoming on arrival, allowing me to park my motorbike in their private garage and booking a table at a local restaurant, which was a 15-20 minute walk away. The whole Property was newly decorated and in spotless show house condition, with quirky ornaments. The breakfast provided was either homemade or sourced from local produce.
