We come to France several times a year and there is always one more gem to surprise us, we chose the hotel randomly as it was on the way to our destination. From the moment we arrived we’re greeted with a warm welcome from the charming young man on the desk who kindly carried my case up to our room,excellent room large bed and spacious well equipped shower room,the dining room was beautifully appointed with interesting artwork overlooking the gardens The three course dinner option was extremely good value and delicious and good wine choices Breakfast was simple but amazing homemade jam,home cooked ham, cheese,fresh bread, yogurt, fromage frais,fresh fruit, delicious croissants and quality juices and coffee all for €8 and the lady who served breakfast was a delightful woman A marvellous stay and will definitely be back here again

Having to leave But if it hot ask for a room at the back as the front is in the sun all day and with the windows closed and thick blackout curtains our room was very hot

We are cycle tourists and we travelled along the Veloscenie from Paris to le Mont Saint Michel. This is an hight level hotel for people that round the world by bicycle... too much for us. Charm, internal elegant. Welcoming and gentle receptionist. Fine restaurant. Room more than perfect. There's a garage for bicycles.

Pleasant small hotel nicely decorated with onsite parking and pretty quiet garden with furniture. The staff were friendly and helpful . The room was clean and pleasant with comfortable bed on the firm side. Shower room looked recent.

Room a little on the small size some street noise but Ok when windows closed. A rear facing room would have been a better choice

Location for us cycling the Velo Scenice was excellent. Rooms were very good as was the breakfast service. The evening meals were more creative than we were expecting. Good storegage for our bicycles.

Check in isn’t very smooth, having to phone on arrival and request an access code, then unsure which keys were ours. Although we only spoke a little french, and our host spoke excellent English he insisted in speaking to us in French most of the time - which wasn’t helpful, may be even arrogant.

Lovely small hotel in centre of the village and near the Abbey grounds. Fabulous restaurant and dinner was exceptionally good. Friendly staff and comfortable room. Highly recommended.

it was clean, not fussy and very genuine. The location was perfect for visiting the abbey.

Hotel was perfect for our route back to the ferry. Great food in the restaurant and the staff were really helpful. They had a small barn/garage to store our two motorcycles with advance notice.

Very fine and comfortable auberge with a focus on local produce, cheese, meat, cider, wine, artworks and fine dining. Staff very helpful and génials. I could park my rented e-bike in their lock-up garage. The degustation dinner was delicious and I congratulate the chef on a very fine meal.

Buffet breakfast with cheese and ham as well as the usual croissants etc Baked items very fresh. Nice dinner with a selection of local wines and beers as well as other regions and countries. Lake and Abbey gardens for dog walking.

We were told booking in was at 18:00 which I think is late. At 18:00 notice at door giving phone number which we rang to get access. no one on site until 19:00
