The Ibis Budget Chateaudun is in a good location just outside the town near the road but far enough away to not be disturbed by traffic noise. The rooms are standard for this type of hotel and we had free wifi which was a nice addition. The check in lady was brilliant and helpful, and also told us that if we took proof of our hotel booking to the local eateries nearby we would be able to get a 10% discount on on our bill which was also a very nice bonus.

The only real fault I could come up with was there were only 2 smallish towels, but apart from that we found nothing wrong

Convenient location with several food options nearby within walking distance. Sufficient parking. Seems quiet enough area, the roads calm down at night. The room, well, value for money, we did not pay much at all, but, it could do with some work; - ditch the sit down bath, it does not work, just have a good shower - redo the silicone, it's letting loose also hampering cleaning - get some new mattrasses and pillows, these were particulary poor But as I said value for money.

Bed, mattress really needs to be renewed as well as pillow.

We use this hotel a lot as halfway point from the Ferry to our home in the Vienne. Great location, with Burger King, buffalo Grill and McDonalds nearby, plus supermarket. Beds are always comfortable and we always sleep very well.

The 24 hour check in kiosk does not always work well and I think they should look into this - when you arrive late and the machine does not let you check in - it becomes stressful, especially when you are exhausted from driving. If they fix this problem my overall mark would be higher!

Cindy the host went above and beyond when one of our group experienced motorcycle issues, she phoned garages and helped us out massively. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast and good location for facilities. Will definitely use again.

This is the third time we have used this hotel. Outside the town of Chateaudun but on a retail park with choices of restaurant close by. Safe storage for our bicycles, our method transport so important to us.

Good clean hotel, good rooms, great breakfast. Cindy went above and beyond in helping us when our friends motorcycle had issues. Perfect host. 10/10

Staff exceptionally friendly & informative. Breakfast lovely. Beds ok, clean but just not overly comfortable. Would have needed more pillows 😴
